This weeks Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books That Were Totally Deceiving (those covers or titles that don't fit the books, a book that was totally different than its summary, or those books you thought were going to be fluff that turned out to be more serious etc etc.)

My Top Ten Books That Were Totally Deceiving

Evernight
By reading the summary and the cover I would never have thought that it was about vampires.
A new twist to the vampire genre. I never thought it would be as good a story as it was.

THE FOREVER GIRL (an Urban Fantasy / Paranormal Romance Novel of the Occult) (Forever Girl Series #1)
This one truned out to be a way better than the summary lead it to be.

Jewels
Spans through five eventful decades that include war, passion, international intrigue, and the strength of family through it all. Sarah Whitfield buys jewelry and starts her own business, but it is not all about the Jewels its about the lives of the Whitfield's.

Koko
Peter Straub described Vietnam as being a very beautiful piece of landscape that I have wanted ever since reading Koko to go visit Vietnam to see it for myself.

Cycle of the Werewolf (Signet)
The werewolf in this book is way different than in any other book that I have read about werewolves. Although I did enjoy it, it was not one of Stephen Kings best books.

Gerald's Game (Signet)
This one was more serious than I had anticipated it being.

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
I thought this one would be all about this girls obsession with this baseball player.

Lonesome Dove
Lonesome Dove is just a small town. So you would think that the book would be about the town. In the begining it is about the town and the people in the town. Captain Augustus "Gus" McCrae and Captain Woodrow F. Call, two famous ex–Texas Rangers, drive cattle from Texas to Montana to claim land that is there for any one to stake a claim for.

Palomino
When I saw the cover I thought this would be a book about horses. It does take place on a horse ranch but it is more than just horses. Love and romance with more than just one person or couple.

Starters
When I read the summary of Starters I wondered what exactly starter/renter's were or how they went about renting out their bodies. Starters/renters definitely were not what I expected them to be.
