Under the command of the fledgling Earth Space Alliance the spacecraft will carry human beings to the stars, and beyond.

* A Plot to see it Fail…*
Someone doesn't want to see this happen and will stop at nothing to see it fail--including murder... When Frontier is sabotaged, Hank is left stranded and alone to die in the Alpha Centauri system. With their dreams crumbling around them, will they be able to discover who is behind the plot to steal the alien technology, and to murder those closest to it?

Author Interview:

What inspired you to write FRONTIERS?

First of all, thank you for having me, I appreciate this opportunity!

FRONTIERS: Book Two in the Cybersp@ce Series, is the second novel in the Cybersp@ce series, an exciting vision of an optimistic near-future, and is set after CYBERSP@CE but before NEW BEGINNINGS. Here's the blurb for FRONTIERS.

*A Dream to Unite Humanity...*

The concept for FRONTIERS came out of my interest in science-fiction, politics, religion, and a positive vision of the future. As the Cybersp@ce Series progresses from Cybersp@ce to Frontiers to New Beginnings, the novels become increasingly

When or at what age did you know you wanted to be a writer?

I've always enjoyed reading, but in terms of when I knew I wanted to be a writer, I suppose it was when I was when I was in college and I took a creative writing class that I first realized how much I enjoyed writing. It wasn't until I did some soul-searching a few years ago however about what I'd really enjoy doing with my life that I decided to give it a whirl.

What is the earliest age you remember reading your first book?

I believe I was probably four or five years old when I was given a copy of Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It's amazing that I can even remember that!

What genre of books do you enjoy reading?

I enjoy reading several different genres, but I mostly enjoy Christian Fiction, Sci-Fi, and Tom Clancy-type novels.

What is your favorite book?

In terms of all books, the Bible, hands-down. In terms of fictional literature, I've really enjoyed Tom Clancy's novels, as well as traditional favorites like War of the Worlds, Tale of Two Cities, and others.

You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

As I mentioned earlier, I really like Clancy, and many others, but I believe I'd have to pick H.G. Wells as my favorite author of fictional literature. Wells was an incredible visionary, and a fantastic storyteller. If you ask me tomorrow, however, I might pick another, there're so many great writers!

If you could travel back in time here on earth to any place or time. Where would you go and why?

I'd go back to the Garden of Eden to warn Adam and Eve that the fruit was definitely not worth it. I might also want to go back and inform Heron, the ancient Greek geometer and engineer from Alexandria who lived around 2,000 years ago, and built the first steam engine- called an "aeolipile,' how important steam engines would become in the 19th and 20th centuries. It would alter the entire course of history, of course but hey, why limit ourselves?

When writing a book do you find that writing comes easy for you or is it a difficult task?

It generally comes rather easy. I think all authors eventually develop a method that works for them. For me, I start with the idea, write the first few chapters, and then work on building a complete outline.

Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?

I have four, but only one of them is fuzzy (my teenage son). Seriously, I have no pets at the moment, but I spent a good part of my childhood with dogs.

What is your "to die for", favorite food/foods to eat?

I worked for a Steak and Ale restaurant many years ago, and the food back then was absolutely incredible. Steak, French-only soup, a steak, baked potato, etc.-awesome!

Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?

Absolutely. If you love writing, then write, write, and write. The more you write the better you get. There's an enormous amount of people writing books, however, and the competition has never been greater. If you love it, do it, and work as hard as you can to get you work seen and to rise above the noise of so many works coming out every month. You might also want to read books like Writing the Breakout Novel, by Donald Maas, a literary agent out of New York. I'm not sure there's a magic bullet but if you come across one, please let me know what it is! Bonne Chance!
