Myla Lewis has married Prince Lincoln, and now they’re expecting! All the after-realms rejoice. Myla should be happy too, but she has a serious problem. The day after their honeymoon ended, Myla’s real husband disappeared.

The man who’s sharing her bed is an imposter.

Myla tries explaining about “Evil Lincoln,” but no one will listen. The reason? People think that Myla’s supernatural pregnancy is making her cray cray. Mostly because that’s what Evil Lincoln is telling everyone, and that man’s a great liar. What a creep.

There’s no way Myla will take this lying down, though. She’s going to rescue her man, and she has a pretty good idea where he’s being held. With her best friend, Cissy, along to help, Myla sneaks off to Earth. All she has to do is blend in with the humans, avoid Evil Lincoln, and find her real man before the baby arrives. How hard can it be?

My Review of Thrax (Angelbound Origins #4):

Myla and Lincoln are married and pregnant and on the last night of their honeymoon. They will now return to their new lives as king and queen of Thrax. Myla wakes up on the last day of her honeymoon without the man she married. Her Lincoln has been kidnapped but no one believes her as the man pretending to be her husband is an evil clone of Lincoln who Myla has taken to calling Evil Lincoln. Myla knows that this man is not the man she married and loves by the way he acts and talks. Myla will get her Lincoln back no matter what the cost.

Myla thinks she knows where Lincoln has been taken. She believes him to be on Earth. It is not easy for Myla to leave Thrax and go to Earth as Evil Lincoln has ever one convinced that Myla is cray cray because of the baby and they have her contained in her room and he has given orders to keep her there. Although it is not easy Myla escapes her little prison and takes off to Earth with her friends Cissy and Zeke to find Lincoln and bring him home.

While Myla is searching for Lincoln on Earth she finds out that a longtime friend of Lincoln’s Ethan has been real busy during his time of living on Earth. He has been doing lots and lots of cloning of different people and he has plans in the making of taking over Earth and ruling over humans. When Myla finds out what he is up to and with the help of Cissy and Zeke they make plans to stop him and saved the world. But of course Ethan has some real bad things planned for Myla, Lincoln and their unborn baby.

I have really, really loved reading the Angelbound Origins series from the first page of the first book Angelbound. It has been on roller coaster of a ride. I am not sure which book is my favorite but if I had to pick one I think Tharx may be it. I love how Myla and Lincoln know what the other one is thinking with just one word or maybe just a facial expression. And boy can they fight. They make a great team as couple and as a fighting team. They just fit so well together. I love Myla’s snarky attitude and the conversations she has in her head when she is talking to someone. Oh I can’t leave out her tail and then there is Iggy. He was so amazing and so sweet. Iggy just loves his Great Scala. I love when she talks to her tail, “down boy”. I can’t give this series enough phrase besides I don’t think there is enough words out there to describe it except maybe amazing, fantastic, awesome, out of this world kind of thingy. I can’t wait to see it on the big screen one day. I can’t wait to read the next book The Dark Lands.

Do I recommend this book, this series? Oh you bet!! Pick up you copies today and join the fun and adventure and take a trip to Purgatory with Myla and Lincoln.

My Review of Acca (Angelbound Origins #3):

Myla and Lincoln are getting married! The two moms have the wedding all planned out. Lincoln’s mom has a ball planned for Myla before the wedding one which Myla does not want to attend but of course that would be so very rude. Although she doesn’t want to go to the ball she will because that is the right thing to do or the grown up thing to do.

Oh and did I mention that Myla and Lincoln are on their way to jail if they can’t prove their innocents. They only have a few days to gather all the evidence to bring before the Arbiter so she can decide the outcome of the case. The house of Acca has it in for Myla and Lincoln and wants them out of the way so they can take over Thrax so they are trying to send them to prison. So Myla and Lincoln must prove their innocents and stop the house of Acca and send them to prison instead for all the things they have done against the house of Thrax and save their people.

Myla and Lincoln travel to Earth to gather more evidence for their case and they only have a small window of time in order to do this. They are going undercover at a school on Earth to find the evidence they need to clear their names. Myla will be going in as a student and Lincoln as a teacher. Although Myla hates high school she is kind of looking forward to being on Earth as she will get to use all these techy devices like a cell phone, a computer, ect. All the things they don’t have in Purgatory as they don’t have internet. But oh how she is disappointed when she arrives at the school and finds they have no internet either.

Can Myla and Lincoln get the evidence they need so they can present their case to the Arbiter in time or will they go to jail? Will they gather the evidence before the wedding? Is the wedding or off? Can they prove their innocents? Does the house of Acca have the evidence to put Myla and Lincoln behind bars?

I can’t say enough how much I love this series or how awesome it is. The world building is out of this world. The author did a fantastic job of describing hell, purgatory and the after realms. Oh and the Igni. Myla is still just as amazing as ever with her snappy comebacks and she is one bad a** fighting machine. She has a tail with an attitude. Myla is part demon, angel and human. Her mom is a demon and her father is an angel. I can’t wait to read the next book Tharx to see where Myla and Lincoln take us next because if I know those two they are going to take us somewhere amazing.

If you love reading about demons, angels and a good fantasy book then you are going to adore Acca and Angelbound Origin series. Check them all out today!

My Review of Scala (Angelbound Origins #2):

Myla is back and she has a new job of moving souls to heaven or hell. But she is having this one little problem where she can only move souls to hell because of this little magical thingy called Lucifer’s Orb. The ghost tower where the souls are kept until it is decided if they will go to heaven or hell is bursting at the seams and is about to explode. Being the Great Scala that she is Myla has no intentions of sending innocent souls to hell. So there is only one thing left for her to do and that is to find Lucifer’s Orb.

Lady Adair is back and she wants everything back that she believes Myla stole from her like being the Great Scala and her boyfriend Prince Lincoln. Lady Adair will stop at nothing to take back what is hers. Someone has to be in cahoots with Lady Adair and Myla plans on finding out who is helping her. Myla has not intentions of letting Lady Adair take anything from her. Myla hates sending souls to hell but that is exactly where she will send her if she doesn’t stop trying to take her guy or her Igni that is exactly where she is going to end up.

I really enjoyed reading Angelbound and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy of Scala. Myla is a great person she is smart and I just love how she answers someone but in her mind she is usually thinking something totally different than what she says. I love all her witty comebacks and I love Myla and Lincoln’s relationship. How they know what the other one is thinking and can finish each other’s sentences and instead of growing apart they just get closer and closer to each other. The have a bond that no one can break or come between.

I love the world that the author has created for the Angelbound Origins series like Purgatory, Thrax and the after realms. In Purgatory everything is like old and decayed like and dark. I loved that Myla’s high school was Purgatory High. I would love to see this series on the big screen. It would be so amazing to watch. I can’t wait to move on to the next book Acca.

I would love to recommend Scala to anyone who loves reading about demons, angels or fantasy. I would suggest that you start with the first book Angelbound as this is not a standalone. Pick up your copies of the first two books today and start your journey with a part demon, angel and human girl and a story that is out of this world. I can’t stop gushing about this series and I hope it never ends. Christina Bauer is one of my favorite authors.
