Blog Tour + #Giveaway: How to Nail a Stud by Katharine Sadler @KatharineSadler @XpressoTours

How to Nail a Stud
Katharine Sadler
Publication date: April 16th 2021
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Shel is tired of dating men who don’t appreciate her rock and roll wardrobe or her tomboy tendencies. She’s swearing off dating, and she is not going to give another moment’s thought to the hot single dad next door. She is not going to waste a single moment dwelling on his muscles or his eyes or the way he plays with his adorable six-year-old daughter.

Max has made mistakes, he’s been a terrible father, and he has no problem spending the rest of his life atoning by being the best, most devoted parent he can possibly be. A devoted father does not have wicked thoughts about his sexy neighbor, and he most certainly does not consider an actual relationship.

Except, he can’t stop thinking about Shel, and he’s not sure what to do about it.

Interview with Katharine Sadler

What made you want to become a writer?

I wanted to be a song writer when I was seven or eight. I was going to write songs and the little boy next door was going to become famous and sing my songs. That didn’t pan out, but I never stopped writing.

What inspired you to write (How to Nail a Stud)?

Max is a character from the first book in the series, How to Lasso a Billionaire (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0872HPM4G). He’s not a good guy. He’s selfish and self-centered, and I’d never intended for him to have a book at all. As I wrote him in the first book, though, I became more and more intrigued with him and wondered if he could be redeemed. I had to write How to Nail a Stud to find out.

Can you tell us a little bit about the characters in (How to Nail a Stud)?

Max Mason is an ex-con and a single dad to a six-year-old girl. He’s made mistakes in his past, but he’s determined to atone for them by being the best, most devoted dad he can be.

Shel Tinsdale is a music teacher who plays in a local band on the weekend. Her parents are world-famous rock stars, but she has no interest in fame and she’s already got a fortune (a trust in the billions from her grandparents).

You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

It depends on the day and my mood. My all-time favorite authors are Emily Bronte and Alice Walker. Other favorites are Melanie Harlow, Pippa Grant, Kayley Loring, Claire Kingsley, Penny Reid … I could go on all day.

Can you tell us a little bit about your next books or what you have planned for the future?

I’m working on the next book in the Vegas Billionaires series now. It’s about a photographer and a casino owner, and it’s a fake fiancĂ© romance. This summer, book five of my Catalpa Creek series (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MDCB5R1) will be released – it’s a road trip romance called, The Poet in the RV.

What did you enjoy most about writing this book?

One of my secret, will almost definitely never happen, fantasies is to be a rock star for a day. I loved imagining what it was like for Shel to be up on stage rocking.
