Book Tour + #Giveaway: Saving Yukon by Bryan Burnell @RABTBookTours

Paranormal Suspense

Date Published: May 20, 2025

Publisher: Acorn Publishing

Matteo Ferrari has always been different. Gifted with unsettling clairvoyance, he sees shadows where others see light and hears whispers from the unknown. But when he fails to protect the ones he loves, his abilities vanish, leaving him lost and desperate. To reclaim his powers and find a new path, Matteo abandons his old life and ventures into the Alaskan wilderness.

Gabriella Valentina knows the pain of loss all too well. Once enchanted by the spotlight, she now flees from her past, seeking refuge from fear and sorrow in the same wild expanse.

When Matteo and Gabriella’s paths cross amidst the eerie beauty and hidden dangers of the Yukon, they must confront not only the shadows of their pasts but also the dark forces that lurk in the forest, waiting to claim them.

Interview with Bryan Burnell

What is your favorite part of the book?

This is a tough question because now that I’ve read my book 100 times, I pretty much hate the whole thing! Haha! Jk! I would say that I enjoyed Chapter 30—The Awakening, where both Matteo and Gabriella are speaking of their own personal account of the intense drama that just occurred.

Does your book have a lesson? Moral?

Nothing that I readily preplanned. There is a subtle message that----If we all listen with the best of our abilities, we can hear guidance that many others cannot, and this can lead to good among all living things on earth. Learning to live and help everything and everyone can ultimately lead to the survival of all.

Are your characters based off real people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?

Three of the characters were loosely based on real characters that I then embellished with lots of fiction. And the rest came from my imagination.

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favorite and why?

That would be Chuck because even though he has experienced losses, like Matteo and Gabriella, he still approaches life with an easy, and jolly sense of humor. He means well no matter how much sarcasm he throws out. And he ends up helping all the good folks in this adventure.

What character in your book are you least likely to get along with?

Probably be Richard(Dick) mostly because he has some issues and sometimes, he is a bit unpredictable.

What would the main character in your book have to say about you?

We would be best friends! This is a tough question. I don’t like to throw out wonderfully glowing comments about myself. I’d rather talk about you!

Do you want each book to stand on its own, or are you trying to build a body of work with connections between each book?

Right now, my second book does have connections to the first book, but both can stand alone, but its best to read Saving Yukon first. A minor character from the first book has the lead role in the second book with the two lead characters from the first book taking lessor roles. It may end up being a trilogy. My thoughts are brewing as to the subject matter for book 3!

He is married with two grown children and a spoiled Labradoodle named Nelli
