"Make me forget about everything except you."

Catelyn Travis is a good girl who gets good grades in law school, doesn't date and never gets into trouble.

But when a run of bad luck threatens to destroy everything she's worked for, she's forced to become Cat, phone sex goddess who fulfills the fantasies of her clients night after night.

When she meets Ashton Davenport the Third, bad boy biker billionaire, she knows to stay away. But when he calls her alter ego, Cat, she has no choice but to fall for the sexy stranger.

Now her life is spiraling out of control as she struggles to keep her two identities separate, but there's one person who knows her secret.

And he'll stop at nothing to destroy her, just like he destroyed her parents.

Threatened at every turn, her life crumbling around her, Catelyn must decide who she can trust, because the wrong choice could end her life.

Excerpt:

One ad caught my eye, and I pulled it off and read. Do you have a nice voice? Want to double or triple your income and work from home? Call us and leave a message. If we like what we hear, we'll call you back.

If I could double or triple my income, I could actually survive the rest of the year. I dialed the number to the telemarketing job and left a message in my most professional voice and hung up, heart racing.

With a renewed hope for the future, and not a small amount of daydreaming about Mr. Mystery Man, I headed home, completely forgetting for the first time in years what day it was.

It wasn't until I checked the mail that I remembered.

With trembling hands I opened the card, always on the same embossed cream stationary. Always typed in Helvetica twelve-point font. Always postmarked from a different city in the country.

And always with the same message. Another year and still alone. One is such a lonely number.

I dropped the card and stood there shaking, trying to breathe. I called Brig but got her voicemail. "He found me again. The man who killed my parents. He found me."

My Review:

I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Catelyn Travis has been through a lot in her short lifetime. Seven years ago when she was fifteen years old her parents were murdered right before her eyes, and ever since she has lived in fear not to mention the fact that her parent's murderer has never been found. He is supposedly still running around out there somewhere living a happy and care free life of murder and mayhem unlike Catelyn.

Catelyn is a law student who has had hard time trying to put herself through college while working and paying rent and bills. The majority of college students usually have the support of their families and not just with help paying her tuition but they have morale support at the least but not Catelyn. She is lucky that she has a best friend that tries her best to cheer her up and to help her out with other things as well when Catelyn will let her. But Catelyn is a very independent person and doesn't ask anybody for anything. Her life is her problem and she is going to be the one take care of it.

When the new semester starts Catelyn finds herself in a little predicament her tuition has gone up but her grant has gone down. Catelyn is worried about how she is going to pay her tuition and pay her bills too. Things start looking up for her when she checks out the schools bulletin board and finds an ad for a job. She is to call and leave a message in her best professional voice and if they like what they hear then they will call her back so she does. She is kind of surprised when her call is returned but she is more surprised about the kind of job it is. But after thinking about it she decides to take the job as she doesn't have a whole lot of choices to choose from. She has to pay bills and her tuition somehow. She accepts the job and becomes "Cat" a phone sex operator. At first she has a little trouble talking about sex with men on the phone and full filling their sexual fantasies but it doesn't take her long to ease into it and push her feelings about it to the back of her mind so that she can do what she has to do to survive.

Catelyn meets bad boy Ashton Davenport the Third self-made billionaire. Catelyn is attracted to him right from the beginning but she tries to stay away from him. She probably thinks if she did date him that when he found out that she wasn't rich and/or that she was a phone sex operator that he won't want to be with her anymore and she had been through enough hurt over the last seven years. But when Ash calls "Cat" and starts talking mostly about himself instead of full filling any of his sexually fantasies Catelyn can't help but to fall in love with. She knows that if she is going to have any kind of relationship with him she is going to have to tell him the truth about who she is and what she does to make money. But she is afraid that if she does then she will lose him. Her being a phone sex operator is not the only reason she is afraid to date him. She doesn't want to saddle him with all of her problems it wouldn't be fair to him. Besides if she tells him or starts dating him she will probably put his life in danger as well.

Call Me Cat is full of twist and turns and a lot of mystery and suspense among other things of course. It will grab a hold of your heart strings and pull you in right from the start where you feel as if you are ghost following Catelyn around seeing and feeling everything she does.
