No
matter how deep, the past never stays buried.
Fifteen
years ago, the Unholy Spirit Killer murdered seven people in a small
town in the north of England. Fathers and sons, abducted from their
homes without a trace, as though taken by a spirit. The pattern was
left unfinished.
Alex
Greyson buried his past a long time ago. He created a new identity, a
new personality, to keep anybody from knowing the truth: he's the son
of a serial killer.
Now
the Unholy Spirit is back and he's made Alex's estranged brother
victim number eight. The only way to keep the truth of his past from
destroying his new life is to return to his hometown and resume his
old identity. To hide in plain sight until the police catch his
brother's killer.
Alex
has been haunted by his father's crimes for fifteen years but,
despite all the evidence, he cannot accept the Unholy Spirit has
really returned.
My Review:
Fifteen years ago, the Unholy Spirit Killer murdered seven people in a small town in the north of England. The Unholy Spirit Killer is back and committing more crimes or is he?
When I started reading Beneath The Stains Of Time I thought I knew what to expect especially after reading the summary but I was so wrong in so many different ways.
What I found between the covers of Beneath The Stains Of Time was way better than I anticipated. Once I started reading I couldn’t take my eyes off the page. I wanted to keep reading no matter what was going on around me. I was pulled in from the first page.
I was racing through page after page, trying to figure out what was happening. There were so many twists and turns that I didn’t know which end was up. I kept trying to guess who did it if I ever came close or thought I was. Then, another twist was thrown in my face, and I was off once again, trying to get over the shock of what had just happened and back to trying to figure it all out.
Beneath The Stains Of Time is the first book by Michael Nunn that I have read but I certainly hope it is not the last. I can’t wait to check out other books written by Michael Nunn.
I enjoyed reading Beneath The Stains Of Time so much that I highly recommend it to all thriller fans! Grab a copy today! But be warned: once you begin, you will not want to stop reading.
