Blurb:

When loyalty means betrayal and power demands sacrifice, how far will she go to survive?

Roxanne Fosch has joined the Hunters. She’s no longer forced to flee from her enemies. But new dangers have emerged. Her clan has its own plans for her, and even the strength of the Hunters might not be enough to protect her.

Now, Roxanne faces an impossible choice: be branded a traitor and exiled as a rogue, or ally with darker forces to save herself—and those she loves.

To succeed, she must gamble everything. But will the cost of victory be worth the sacrifice?

*This is a revised edition of Heir of Doom.

Praise for Heir of Doom:

“My hat is most certainly off to Jina Bazzar for painting such a clear and realistic world out of so many complexities. It reads smoothly, beautifully, and of course deadly. The setting is clear, and the characters are amazing.” — Goodreads Reviewer.

“Danger is Roxanne’s constant companion and it’s hard to know who she can trust among these powerful and ruthless preternatural beings. Across the board, the characters are compelling, demanding, and rather scary. I’d last about 2 minutes with this bunch. Roxanne is tough! But she has a soft side too that puts the reader solidly on her team.” — Goodreads Reviewer.

“This series is a lot of fun to immerse yourself in, and if you like mysterious fantasy with a heavy dose of action and just a sprinkling of romance, this is the series for you!” — Goodreads Reviewer.

My Review:

Roxanne is one tough lady. She kept on going against her trainer. The more she said no, the more he said yes. The more she fought back, the more he fought her. I kept hoping that eventually, she would catch on to what he was doing, but it sure took her a while. I began to think she might not make it out alive.

Roxanne is safe for the moment but she might not be shortly. Roxanne has some pretty hard choices to make. The choice she makes could cost her a lot.

Roxanne has been given the task of finding a little girl and is also looking for her mother. The missing little girl and her mother could be connected in some way, but the question is how.

Heir of Doom was slow to start with introducing us to all the characters and who they are. But it didn’t take long for things to speed up once the fighting began and there were plenty of fights to keep those pages turning.

Heir of Doom was filled with many secrets that were released slowly causing me to want to read faster as I wanted to know what was on the next page and the next until it had me racing to the end.

I recommend that the reader pick up a copy of Heir of Doom today! Oh, wait I would suggest reading the first book in The Roxanne Fosch Files, Heir of Ashes before reading Heir of Doom. The Roxanne Fosch Files should be read in order. I know you don’t want to miss a thing from this wonderful world of shifters and other paranormal creatures living in the same world. This is one of my favorite parts about The Roxanne Fosch Files.
