My Review:

Tyler, Conner, Alex, Maya, Olivia, and Tyler’s golden retriever, Whisp, have been called to Ashberry Grove, a hotbed of alien activity nestled in Utah. In the lab, they learn that Skinwalkers can imitate humans.

This ability makes it challenging to know whom to trust. I enjoyed learning about Skinwalkers and their capacity to shift into humans. I also loved seeing the superpowers of Tyler, Conner, Alex, Maya, Olivia, and Whisp in action. The descriptions made it easy to visualize everything.

The mystery and suspense kept me engaged and racing toward the end. The more I read, the more I wanted to read. I was hooked from the first page. The world-building is captivating, and I would love to see The Midnight Society series adapted into a TV show.

Rise of the Skinwalkers reminds me of the TV show Battlestar Galactica and the movie Ready Player One. I see parallels with Battlestar Galactica in its portrayal of Cyborgs and Skinwalkers and with Ready Player One due to the five friends.

I can’t wait to explore more of The Midnight Society! I highly recommend reading Rise of the Skinwalkers to all science fiction fans! Grab a copy today!
