My Review:
Amanda, Austin, Malachi, Andy, and the rest of their group, along
with their two canine companions, Russ and Maggy, have arrived in
Spokane, where they connect with a group that welcomes them.
They
are uncertain about whether this group can be trusted, but they do
have a safe place to stay, and this group has invited them into their
home. They will have to wait and see, keeping a close watch on
everyone and getting to know them to determine their
trustworthiness.
Meanwhile, Koble is still hot on their
trail and is very determined to catch up to them. Austin doesn’t
want to fight, but he might not have a choice if he wants to keep his
family safe. After all, Koble will not stop until she gets what she
desires from them.
They decide to stand with this new
group against Koble together; hopefully, they can stop her before
it's too late. They need to find more powerful weapons for their
fight if they hope to defeat Koble.
Survive the Turmoil
didn’t draw me into its world as completely as I was drawn into the
world of Small Town EMP when I read Survive the Chaos, the first book
in the series. I love stories like this and have enjoyed reading
every book in this series.
The world-building is not just
amazing; it is extraordinary, and I would love to see it continue
indefinitely. The writing is so well done, making it easy to hang on
to every word. I can visualize it all playing out in my mind as if I
were there with them, fighting by their side.
Survive the
Turmoil kept me on my toes with its many twists and turns that
captivated my attention from the first page to the last. Once I start
reading stories like this, I can’t seem to stop until I reach the
last page, and even then, it lingers long after I’ve closed the
book.
I highly recommend Survive the Turmoil to all fans
