Have you ever had an imaginary friend?

I have never had an imaginary friend. I see small children who do have one, or can do imaginary play about horses or race cars, etc. and I wish I could immerse myself into something so easily creative and so simply satisfying. I'm too much of a realist and things are either black and white for me.

Do you have any phobias?

I do not like having my arms trapped or pinned. I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and it often happens where my opponent has gotten my arms trapped to my sides or in some weird way and I panic. I'm working on breathing through it and then panicking after about ten seconds, then fifteen, but wow, that's a tough one! I think if I were in the BDSM lifestyle that would be a hard limit for me!

Do you listen to music when you're writing?

I can listen to classical or other music that doesn't have any words. If there are voices it gets too distracting! Even with the classical, it has to be turned down really low.

Do you ever read your stories out loud?

NEVER! I have a few of my books in audio and I listened to the beginning of one and I had to turn it off. It's one thing to write steamy erotic, it's another thing to hear it aloud! Especially if I wrote it! Ack!

Tell us about your main character and who inspired him/her.

The Wildflowers Of Montana Series has eight strong women as the main characters. They're all flawed, but learn, perhaps the hard way, that they are brave and resilient and powerful. They might have to submit to an alpha cowboy, but they discover that they have the true power in the relationship. A man inspires them to be greater, and by the end of the books, each one triumphs.
