Blurb:

When Maggie’s fractured memories start to piece together the mysterious death of Hugh Simons, she’s drawn into a web of deceit that stretches back decades—and threatens her future.

Alongside her detective friend Harper, Maggie embarks on an investigation into Hugh’s untimely demise, but as they inch closer to the truth, the more danger they uncover.

As Maggie’s loyal dog, Biscuit, senses the growing threat, the shadows of her past reveal uncomfortable truths about failed experiments, vengeful plots, and the manipulative Dana Timmons.

With Jack Timmons—a jittery, evasive man—lurking in the background, Maggie’s unraveling memories bring to light disturbing connections between Dana’s schemes and a tragic history tied to the experimental camps.

Maggie and Harper race against time to expose Dana’s role in Hugh’s death, as they navigate deceit, betrayal, and a complex web of family loyalty.

Will they be able to stop Dana before she erases all evidence or will Maggie be silenced once and for all before she can piece together the last of the puzzle—one memory at a time.

My Review:

Maggie is determined to uncover the truth about Hugh Simons' mysterious death by delving into her memories. As she gets closer to discovering what really happened, the situation becomes increasingly perilous for her. Can she unravel the mystery surrounding Hugh's death before it's too late? What ultimately led to Hugh's demise? Who might have wanted to harm him, and why?

The clues kept accumulating, each one leading to the next and raising even more questions. They were mystifying, shocking, and surprising, which motivated me to dig deeper as I tried to uncover what had happened to Hugh.

Maggie worked hard to remember everything. She realized that Harper possessed knowledge she lacked. She was eager to uncover what he knew, yet Harper withheld the information, believing that she needed to discover it on her own to truly believe it.

Murder and Memories captivated me from the start with the mysterious death of Hugh Simons. I was engaged page after page, eager to uncover what happened before it was too late for Maggie.

Murder and Memories is an intense and engaging story that captured my attention from the first page to the last, as well as every page in between.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Murder and Memories and can't wait for Maggie and Biscuit's next case. I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the Maggie Wright Cozy Mystery series.

I strongly recommend reading Murder and Memories! Get your copy today and assist Maggie in uncovering the truth!
