My Review:
Cheyenne Lane at the age of seventeen is being forced to
attend Clandestine University a year earlier than she is supposed to. Lilith
has found out that she has all four vampiric abilities something that is
unheard of. Lilith has plans for Cheyenne but she is not sure what those plans
are.
Once at the university the vampires have their own tales about
the vampires and witches which is quite different than what the witches are
telling her. Cheyenne has no clue as to who is telling her the truth.
Cheyenne is being pulled between the witches and the
vampires with each side trying to tell her who to believe and who to trust.
Cheyenne must figure out who is lying and who is telling the truth for herself.
The witches and vampires have been in a long time war
against each other and each want Cheyenne for their own to be on their side and
for her abilities. Who will Cheyenne trust? Who is lying? Are the witches
lying? Are the vampires lying?
Clandestine has two of my favorite characters or paranormal creatures’
witches and vampires. It is filled with lots and lots of action and suspense
that will keep you hanging on for more. Clandestine is epic fantasy that is
suitable for all ages. Once you pick up Clandestine it will be hard to lay it down.
I would recommend Clandestine to all fans of vampires and
witches with a little romance on the side. But I would suggest that you read Ascension
before reading Clandestine in order to get the full the story.

About the Author
As Maryville native and a senior in college at University of
Tennessee at Chattanooga, Hannah Rials began writing her first novel,
Ascension, at age twelve. Her first YA novel Ascension is a modern day teenage
romance filled with "double-blooded" vampires and revengeseeking
witches. Published by Aletha Press of Maryville, TN is the second book in the
trilogy, Clandestine, was written and editing while she was a full-time college
student. After graduating from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BA
in Creative Writing, she will be attending college at Bath Spa University’s MA
(England): Creative Writing for Young People; a yearlong master’s degree.
Hannah is a vampire fanatic, a New Orleans lover, and a dog
obsessor. She loves her friends, family, and finding new adventures. To keep up
