A
suspenseful yet delightful cozy mystery that I couldn't put down. The
twist and turns kept me reading till the very end. ARC Team
reviewer.
I wanted to learn calligraphy at the local craft
store. I didn't know the owner would kick the bucket after out first
class. Her death is too suspicious.
As
I talk to the craft club who knows everyone that has ever come into
the craft store I find out who would have wanted the victim inked
out.
Everyone saw her cat fight with the town's blabber mouth
and her cousin's estranged husband and city councilman just happened
to emerge just in time to call the morgue.
My
pooch Watson and my puppy Pip find her knitting needles stashed in
the dirt under some bushes and a muddy footprint is traced back to
the crime scene.
A mysterious stranger was seen the night of the
murder aa one of my guests disappears the next morning.
Too many leads with multiple suspects has me and my canine crime fighters chasing clues and our tails.
As we close in on a killer me and my friends uncover a deadly plot that includes hidden town secrets and we are threatened with moted warning us that we're next on the murderer's list of victims.
I need to solve this mystery fast before I run into a killer waiting for me just around the corner of the craft store.
My Review:
Fiona
was taking calligraphy lessons from the lady at the local craft
store; shortly after, the lady turned up dead. Who would want this
lady dead, and why? Fiona, her pooch Watson, and her pup Pip are on
the case. After talking with the craft club, Fiona may have
discovered who wanted the lady gone for good, never to be seen
again.
A Final Brush with Murder is a captivating story
that kept me hooked on every word as I followed Fiona, Watson, and
Pip in their interviews with the craft club members to find out what
happened to her friend.
The mystery and suspense also
played a role in keeping me glued to the pages, as I was drawn deeper
into the story with each turn. I couldn’t turn the pages fast
enough because I wanted to know it all.
I have truly
enjoyed reading each book by Daisy Belle, and A Final Brush with
Murder was no exception. I can’t wait to dive into whatever mystery
Daisy has in store next.
