My Review:
Murder
Served Cold captivated me from the first page and pulled me deep into
its world with its myriad twists and turns, leaving me gasping with
each one. In particular, the unexpected major twist left my mouth
hanging open in surprise.
Chloe’s best friend, Rosie,
enters a cooking contest and is very careful to follow all the rules.
Rosie becomes the number one suspect when a famous food critic, Greg
Winters, who is judging the contest, falls dead during the event
right after tasting Rosie’s dish.
Chloe and her yellow
lab, Peanut, are on the case, as she is determined not to let Rosie
take the fall for something she didn’t do. Chloe and Peanut’s
investigation reveals many twists and turns, along with the numerous
people who didn’t like Greg.
I must say I truly enjoyed
reading Murder Served Cold far more than I expected, even though I
had no doubt I would love it before I began reading. I don’t need
to read a summary of a book by Daisy Belle to know I want to read it
or will enjoy it. Daisy writes the most engaging and riveting stories
that keep you in suspense from the first page to the last.
I
can’t wait to read the next tantalizing story in the Chloe Lane
Cozy Mystery series. I highly recommend Murder Served Cold to all
