My Review:

I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.

Ariel is a High Witch and there can only be three at the same time in the world. Ariel grew up not knowing what she was and not knowing about her powers and what they were. She didn't have anyone to help her use her powers or help her to control them. So Ariel has made it her mission in life to find the other High Witches and help them. She wants to help them learn to control their powers and to also keep them safe and keep them from hurting anyone.

Ariel and Brayden have married and are going to have a baby. Ariel realizes that something is not right with her pregnancy and wants to find out what is wrong if anything is wrong that is. Her baby is doing magic from her womb. Brayden is afraid for Ariel and their child and wants to take care of both of them and keep them safe because Ariel and their child is his life. He could not live if he ever lost Ariel she is his soulmate. But the only thing Brayden wants is to make Ariel happy that is his only concern in life well except for their unborn child.

Hallie is a High Witch like Ariel but she doesn't know it. Hallie has always tried to keep her powers under control and not use them because she doesn't want to hurt anyone. The only time she ever uses them is if she gets upset. You know if someone makes her mad then she usually has no control over them. Hallie has known Sean for most of her life and has always cared for him a lot but she would never tell him because she was always to afraid and shy. Sean has always loved and cared for Hallie as well but would not tell her. Sean always took up for her ever since they were children. He would not let the other children bully her he would always come to her rescue.

I read about Ariel and Brayden's story in High Witch and I loved reading their story so I just had to read Hallie and Sean's story as well. I am glad that I got to read more about Ariel and Brayden in Witch Emerging too. I love reading books about witches and Mona has not disappointed me in the least with the second book in the High Witch series. I can't wait to read the third book High Coven. If you love reading books about witches then you should give the High Witch series a try. I don't think you will be disappointed in the least.
