Synopsis
Night School Vampire Hunter (Novella#1)

Fifteen year old Dasheen Bellamy's world is turned upside down, when she is accused of killing her father and godmother. Dasheen cannot remember the events of the night her world is destroyed, but she feels inside that she is innocent; due to lack of evidence against her and with no other family; Dasheen and her younger brother Jordan, are sent to the elusive and mysterious Ame' Academy ; a residential school where all is not what it appears. There all goes well, until Jordan, begins to become distant and behave strangely as if he is afraid of something or someone. Jordan is transferred to Ame' Academy's Night School track, which is usually only open to special cases. In order to discover what is happening with her brother, Dasheen is finally allowed to also transfer, attending classes in the evening while the rest of the world sleeps. Soon Dasheen's world changes again as she discovers that things out of fairytales and horror stories exist, that she has ancient powers and is the major player in a mystical prophecy; and then she falls in love with a boy, whose mission is to see that she is destroyed before her destiny is fulfilled…

Dasheen Bellamy is a 15 year old girl, whom everyone calls Angel. Angle has lost everything . Her parents have disappeared and all she has left is her 12 year old brother, Jordan. She will do whatever it takes like follow all the rules, go see Ms. Griffin three times a week to keep her and Jordan together. Angel and Jordan both are students and residents of Ame Academy.

Ms Griffin suggested that Angel write everything that has happened to her down in a journal but Angel was a blogger back at her old school. So she starts a blog where she post everything in her blog. She post about the night her parents disappears and her life at Ame Academy.

Angel met Principal Montague in the hall one day and he ask her how Jordan is doing in night school. Angel not knowing that the school had transferred him to night school wonders what is up. The reason she didn't know that he had been transferred is because the students that are in different grades are not allowed to talk to each other unless they are family and only then at the proper time designated by the school.

After her little conversation with the principal Angel decides to go visit Jordan. Although she will have to sneak out of her dorm to do this. When she arrives she goes to Jordan's window and sees a girl drinking blood from a guy's neck. Jordan sees her at the window and she tells him he's not going back in there. Jordan tells her everything is different in night school. You have to follow all the rules or you could get hurt.

Angel begins to see that things are different at the academy. That even some of the people are also different. They are all very good looking. So she decides that she is going to night school with her brother so that she can keep an eye on him and protect him. She gets herself transferred to night school.

Then one night when she is out walking alone she is attacked by a group of boys that she goes to school with. She finds out that night that the boys are vampires and they were sent by Alexa to attack her but not kill her. When Angel was small her dad had her take karate lessons. Well now she was very glad that she took the lessons. Angel kicked some butt that night.

All Angel wants is to get through school, reach her 18th birthday so that she can take Jordan away and take care of him herself. She is a very strong person that know how to kick butt. Angel will do whatever it takes fight whom ever she needs to, to save Jordan from the vampires.

Kindred (Night School Vampire Hunter Trilogy) Novella#2

The Kindred is the second novella in The Night School Vampire Hunter trilogy.

Angel and her friends at Ame Academy, a boarding school for preternatural and humans are back, and they are preparing for battle against the dark forces that kidnapped Angel's younger brother Jordan. Angel had recently discovered that she was a Hunter and that she alone has a special weapon against her enemies, her blood, which is discovered to be toxic to her enemies. Angel is prepared to use her training and all that is at her disposal in order to save Jordan, even if that means joining forces with the strange and mysterious Rafael, who at their first meeting, she recognized him as the boy she had dreamed about for weeks prior to his arrival at the school. Angel cannot shake the feeling that she knew Rafael before, and is hopelessly drawn to her extremely handsome fellow hunter.

Rafael frightens her, he hints of a secret; another time and another life lived.

Can love survive two lifetimes?

Events unfold that provides the answers to who Rafael really is and what they mean to one another; and along with these strange and blossoming emotions for Rafael, along with guilt and fear for her brothers safety; Angel discovers that she is more than just a Vampire Hunter, and that she plays a major role in a ancient prophecy, which she must fulfill by facing a force so evil that survival is not promised.

But she will face the Dark One, Angel will sacrifice all, if it means saving all whom she loves.

Many questions are answered, but the drama is just beginning…

In Kindred we pick up where Night School Vampire Hunter the first novella left off with Dasheen, whom everyone calls Angel is still looking for her little brother Jordan. Jordan had been taken by a gang of rogue vampires in the first book where he is in the process of being turned. Angel intends on finding him before the transformation is completed. She will do whatever it takes to get Jordan back even if that means she must die.

Angel is still writing everything in her blog like Ms. Griffin suggested she do to help her deal with everything that has happened in her life. Ms. Griffin actually suggested she keep a journal but Angel is a blogger and prefers blogging as opposed to writing. We also get to hear from Angel's friend Elin who also blogs because she saw that Angel was blogging. We also get to see things from Rafael's pov the guy that Angel has been having dreams about.

We find out more about who Rafael is and what is connection to Angel is. Angel finds out about her past and how she became to be who she is and how and why she is a vampire hunter. She finds out what she has flowing through her veins and what it will do to the vampires. It is one of the reason that she can kick vampire ass so well along with the karate lessons her Dad made her take when she was a child.

Rafael is a man who is very pleasing to look at and Angel can't even think straight when she looks at him. She swoons and nearly passes out just looking at him. Rafael has been protecting Angel all her life without her knowledge. Rafael has always loved Angel so much that he went against his own family and friends to keep her safe.

In Kindred we are introduced to a new species of preternatural world creatures called the Thunderkin. While most of the Thunderkin are nice there are some that are not and wants to rule over the humans. Angel and her friend must work together to fight the Thunderkin god and the rogue vampires. They must come up with a plan that will work to get Jordan away from the rogue vampire clan before it is too late. Will Angel and friends come up with a plan? Can they get to Jordan in time before his transformation is complete?

I really loved reading both books in the Night School Vampire Hunters novellas with the new species of preternatural creatures and the new twist on vampires. Michelle knows how to tell a story that will keep your adrenaline going and wanting to keep turning the pages because you just got to know what she has waiting for you around the next corner. Its like you sitting there waiting your all pumped up and you think ok ok I know whats coming next and them bam she hits you in the face with it. Then your like oh I wasn't excepting that to happen.

Do you like reading books about vampires? Would you like to read a book with a new twist on vampires? Do you like reading about new creatures in the paranormal world? If you are looking for something that is a little different from other books about vampires then I think you would probably like Michelle's Night School Vampire Hunters trilogy. Reading both of them would be time will spent. I know I have really loved reading them and can't wait to read the third book Redemption. I can't wait to find out more about Rafael and Angel's relationship or at least I hope they can and do end up together. I hope Angel can be with her brother Jordan again.

Redemption (Night School Vampire Hunter Trilogy) Novella#3

Is this how it feels to lose your soulmate? The pain that Rafael is going through is so, so strong it seems so unbearable and to him it is. To love someone to that extinct and then have them taken from you has got to feel as if everything from inside of you is being ripped out one by one, slowly. I believe that I have met my soulmate and dread to see the day come and I definitely do not like thinking about the day when he will be taken from me. He thinks that I am his "Angel" and has been sent to him so that he will not die alone but what if he was sent to me so that I would not die alone after waiting to meet my soulmate all these years. While I can never know what Rafael is feeling because I do not believe that you can ever know what someone else is feeling even if you have been where they are and felt similar things there is no way you can ever feel what someone else has felt. I can sympathize with him and kind of understand his feelings and the love he feels in his heart for his soulmate, Angel. His whole world has just fallen apart around him and crumbling away little by little until maybe his is no more. My heart is just singing with so much hurt for Rafael right now and this is just the beginning of the book.

Elin is reading Angel's diary. She is hoping by reading it she may find some clues as to how to get her back and or try to figure out how to get her back. She is discussing Angel's diary with her friends, Bella Donna and Ismet. They are all hoping that their friend is not gone and that there is some way to bring her back from the dead. Hopefully she is not lost to them forever.

Angel has this great big heart and her big heart is the reason that she is where she is at the moment. Angel was trying to save her friends as well as the whole world. Angel gave her life so that her friends and everyone else could live. She made this choice all on her own and never even considered consulting any of her friends and especially not her little brother Jordan in the matter.

Redemption is the third and final book in the Vampire Hunter Trilogy. I have really enjoyed following a long with Angel, Rafael and all of their friends. I have felt as if I at times as if I was right there beside Angel helping her to fight her demons and helping her to save the world. I have become to feel as if Angel and all of her friends are my friends too. We were introduced to some new characters in Redemption. The new characters are a part of the Alliance and are Novite Felecia Grace Tyler and Novite Nanena Allen with Nanena's soulmate Jase. I am sad to see the Vampire Hunter Trilogy end as I would have like to go with Angel, Rafael, Elin, Bella Donna, Ismet and their new friends Felecia and Nanena on more of their journeys and got to know them a little bit more.

If you like vampires and a good story that will keep you glued to the pages until you have read the last word then I suggest that you pick up your own copies of the Vampire Hunter Trilogy Novellas today as Michelle is one talented author. I can't wait to read more of her work in the near future. Thanks Michelle for being such a great writer and person.

"Before concentrating on my writing and publishing, I was the Director of an before and after-school program for grades fifth thru eighth grade. The idea to focus my writing and on-line publishing endeavors… combining music and reading… actually stemmed from the kids. I had been repeatedly told by my Center kids, that kids that read do not listen to "cool" music and vice versa, so I wanted to show my kids something different. I launched a blog in January 2011 which interviews and spotlights Musicians and Authors…and I also began an on-line internet radio program called IndieReview Behind The Scenes Internet Radio through Blogtalk in March 2012.

This past November of 2013 we celebrated over 100,000 listens! I have since then acquired a co-host, Author Jamie White and three guest hosts for various segments, and music plays a huge part in all I do. Our goal is to have a platform and bring the readers and music listeners together.

It has become a very successful venture, it which I am very grateful.
