A dream and a case of bad boy envy.
When or at what age did you know you wanted to be a writer?
Being a writer actually never crossed my mind. I suppose it's because I've always written. I can't remember a time in my life where I hadn't written something creatively whether poetry, short stories or (really bad) fanfiction.
What is the earliest age you remember reading your first book?
Nancy Drew in third grade. I still love her.
What genre of books do you enjoy reading?
Everything. I'm not genre biased.
What is your favorite book?
Book as in singular? *headdesk* I can't do it. Pick just one? Torture of the seventh ring.
You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?
Nora Roberts. She's unapologetically herself and that's awesome. She's also a fantabulous writer.
If you could travel back in time here on earth to any place or time. Where would you go and why?
I don't think I would. The past should remain set in stone. Who knows what I would screw up. Lol. I like reading about it, but to actually go? No, thanks.
When writing a book do you find that writing comes easy for you or is it a difficult task?
Writing is like breathing on some days and on others it feels like a root canal. Depends on where I am in the plot and where I need to go.
Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?
I have Salem. He's a black cat.
What is your "to die for", favorite food/foods to eat?
Taco Salad. I love, LOVE a good taco salad.
Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?
Write, write, write. Don't stop writing and read. EVERYTHING. Keep broadening horizons and never stop growing into the craft.
