MY REVIEW:
I received a free copy of the book from the
author for my honest opinion.
Primani is action filled from the very
beginning right up to the end. It starts out with poor Mica being raped by the
guy she is on a date with. He attacks, rapes and leaves her for dead. But undoubtedly
it is not her time to go because she wakes up in the hospital with no idea how
she got there. When she gets out she is determined that she will never be a
victim again and finds ways to protect herself if someone tries to attack her
again.
Mica has been through a lot in her short
life. She lost her mother and had to move in with her Dad and his new family. But
of course her step-mom is very good to her and she loves her little brother
very much and would do anything for him. Mica has two best friends with whom
she spends a lot of her time with as well. They would do anything Mica ask them
to do for her if it would mean saving her life or keeping her safe. Mica goes
for what most people call bad guys but just because someone may look or dress a
certain way does not always mean that they are a bad person. A person that
rides a motorcycle and wears cowboy boots with tattoos does not make them bad. Everybody
has different taste when it comes to what kind of person they like or how that
person looks.
Mica starts seeing this new guy around town
and at school on occasion and thinks he is a hot tamale. And of course he is
what most people would call a bad boy but Mica doesn’t care. Since her attack
Mica has been a little more bolder or braver whichever way you would like to
look at it so after noticing that this hot dude starts showing up every time
she gets herself into a little predicament she goes up to them and demands to
know who they are and why they always show up when she is in trouble. Mica
wants answers and she means to get them.
Mica finds out that these three hot guys
are Sean, Declan and Killian and they are there to protect her for whatever her
propose is in life. They must keep her safe at least until then. Mica starts to
have feeling for one of the guys and that is Sean and Sean is also starting to
feel the say way about Mica which could become very difficult. Sean is keeping
secrets from Mica and she knows it but she has to bide her time. She has
figured out that with these guys she is not going to get the right answers
until she just has to know or when she needs to know.
Mica three new friends Sean, Declan and
Killian were all like brothers. They all promised to protect Mica with their
lives just like Sean when he started caring more for her than he should. Mica
was always at the wrong place at the wrong time and none of it was her fault.
The dude that attacked was determined to make her pay for calling the cops on
him. But Sean, Declan and Killian had other plans for him. He would have to go
through all of them before he could ever get to her.
I am so glad that I decided to give Primani
a chance because I fell in love with it. When I read the summary I knew that
this was one book that I just had to read. Primani has a great story, plot,
characters and action with a little bit of magic and a whole lot of secrets
that I can’t wait to find out in the next book. If you have not read Primani
then I would like to recommend you pick up your copy today.
