About the Author
Corine Lewis is a prominent advocate against sexual abuse and violence toward women. Her memoir recounts over a decade of trauma from rape and domestic violence, highlighting her resilience and journey to empowerment. A distinguished cheerleader, Corine was a member of the Willamette High School state championship team and the University of Oregon cheerleading squad, and she coached the USA National Hip Hop Dance champions. She also starred in the reality series The Making of an Oregon Cheerleader. Corine has informally counseled victims for over ten years and plans to launch a podcast to inspire and empower others.
