My Review:
As I attempted to determine whether or not it was real, The Case of the Deadly Truffles kept me alert. The enigma surrounding it will keep you interested. A new series is off to a good start.
At Annie's house, strange things are happening. Is what's taking place at Annie's house authentic? Is someone attempting to frighten her by breaking into her home? Or perhaps they wish to harm her? If so, why?
When Annie receives an invitation to the grand opening of a local flower shop, she becomes suspicious. Annie questions why she was invited to the event. Does the strange activity at her house have anything to do with the invitation?
The Case of the Missing Millions #2
My Review:
Annie is experiencing visions of a woman in a hotel room who is calling 911, claiming that someone is going to kill her. Concerned, Annie contacts Adam, and they head to the hotel, only to discover that the woman is missing. They find blood in the room, suggesting that a crime may have taken place. What has happened to the woman? Is she still alive or has she died?
The case took unexpected turns that left me astonished; I never anticipated them. Annie and Adam collaborate effectively and are gradually getting to know each other better during their weekly dinners.
The Case of the Missing Coffin #3
My Review:
A case where a serial killer is at large and bodies are missing. I was left wanting more by the many surprises in The Case of the Missing Coffin. Many of the turns were unexpected to me. As I tried to understand what was going on and how it was going to end, this one kept me in the dark. I had to read it through to the very end to find out.
I am having a great time reading all of the amazing stories in the Annie Archer Paranormal Mysteries, and I am eager to see what happens to Annie and Adam in the next installment. In addition, Annie and Adam's relationship is going really well, if a little slowly.
The Case of the Unlucky Handyman #4
My Review:
A man is discovered dead in his apartment. Adam believes he was killed using magic and enlists Annie’s help to investigate. As Annie delves deeper, she starts to suspect that her mentor might be the murderer. Time is of the essence as Annie races to prove her friend’s innocence.
The Case of the Unlucky Handyman was a gripping read that had me hanging on every word as I tried to help Annie solve the mystery surrounding the handyman. Who would want to harm him, and why?
There was one major twist that completely caught me off guard. Daisy Landish is renowned for her shocking plot twists that keep readers coming back for more.
The Case of the Amethyst Pendant #5
My Review:
Annie finds a necklace in her jewelry box with the names Emma and Lily engraved on it. Annie has no idea how the necklace got there or who Emma and Lily are but she intends on finding out.
The Case of the Amethyst Pendant tells the story of when Annie and Adam met for the first when she came to live in Turtle Bay. Annie is awakened in the middle of the night by Adam. He got a call that something strange was going on at the place Annie was staying. After arriving at the house Adam finds the body of Annie’s landlord, Nikki.
Is Nikki’s death and the necklace related? I so how? Was the necklace the reason she died? Can Annie and Adam find out who killed Nikki before anyone else is murdered?
