Olympus Rising: Where the lines between hero and villain blur.

Earth is dying. The Moon offers hope. But power corrupts, even in the vacuum of space.

Commander Xanthe Waters fights to secure humanity's future energy source, helium-3, but a covert struggle for its control erupts.

Xanthe finds herself caught in a web of political intrigue and betrayal, with her crew’s survival and Earth’s future on the line.

When eco-terrorists, backed by forces unknown, seize her fellow astronauts, Xanthe must risk everything to expose the conspiracy and prevent a catastrophic energy war.

Xanthe and her team rush to expose the truth and defy those in power before their greed condemns Earth to a final, suffocating darkness.

Olympus Rising is a thrilling chapter in the Olympus saga, a near-future eco-thriller that blends cutting-edge science, political suspense, and ethical dilemmas into a high-stakes battle for survival. If you like strong female leads, complex characters, and stories that explore the dark side of human ambition, you'll love this interplanetary adventure.

My Review:

Xanthe and Jonas are working on Olympus base mining helium-3. Production is running slow. Their food supplies are running low as well. If they don’t get their food supplies soon they may not make their deadline getting the helium-3 extracted in time to go home to Earth.

The Luna Commission wants to establish a military presence on the Moon to safeguard the helium-3 production. As long as they have control of the helium-3 they have the upper hand but if they don’t get their food situation under control they will be left at the mercy of the Luna Commission.

After reading the first two books in the Gaia series I couldn’t wait to dive into Olympus Rising. I love the world that was created for the Gaia series and the Olympus team. I am pulled deep into its world the moment I read the first page. The more I read the more I want to read.

The world-building is out of this world and amazingly well done, no pun intended. The suspense is sure to keep you hanging on every word. It had me chopping at the bit wondering how it was going to turn out in the end.

The characters made the story seem real somehow. You feel as if you have known them all your life. Well, at least some of them seemed to be good people. But I guess if you play fair both groups of people thought they were doing the right thing.

I can’t wait to read more about this wonderful world in the Gaia series and the Olympus world. I recommend this amazing series to all fans of science fiction. Grab a copy of Olympus Rising today but first I suggest that you grab a copy of book one The Olympus Project and book two Olympus Bound and read them before reading Olympus Rising.
