My Review:
Lilac has been locked away in the castle where her family lives for many years. After a curse was placed on Lilac her father locked her away. Lilac’s father announces that he is going to give up the throne. Lilac then sets out to find a cure for her curse so she can take the thrown herself. Upon her journey, Lilac meets a young man at a bar whom she becomes very close to romantically.
I loved the world that was created for Disenchanted. I liked that it had witches, vampires, and Demons as well. Disenchanted is a very interesting story that will keep you hanging on wanting more. It will have you racing to the end to see how it all turns. Once I picked up Disenchanted I couldn’t lay it down until I had read the last page.
Disenchanted grabbed my attention with the summary and never let go from the moment I picked it up. Once I read that summary I couldn’t wait to start reading it. And once I did I was pulled deep into its world.
Disenchanted is the first book in the A Lay of Ruinous Reign series. Disenchanted is also the first book by Brianna Sugalski that I have read. I can’t wait to read more about this enchanting world in the next book in the A Lay of Ruinous Reign series.
