Voices from the clubhouse grew louder, and he glared at the door, cursing the bikers for their noise. When he looked back at Aubry, her stunning blue eyes made his heart race.
He lightly kissed the tip of her nose. “Hey.”
She blinked at the sunlight streaming through the window and burrowed further into her pillow. “Need more sleep,” she mumbled, closing her eyes again.
Chuckling, Grave Robber couldn’t argue with that. Even if she’d gotten back right after she left his cell, she hadn’t been dreaming long.
Not ready to let her sleep without him, Grave Robber inched over and pulled her into his chest. She sighed, the sound pure happiness to his ears. Her ice-cold fingers were tucked against his chest, and he grunted. The damn woman either had cold feet or fingers. He watched the fan oscillate above him. It didn’t matter. He ran hot most days, so he had plenty of heat she could steal. And he wanted her to do exactly that no matter the season.
“You’re supposed to be asleep.”
He lightly traced his fingers on her back. “So are you.”
“Can’t with your dick poking me.”
Chuckling, Grave Robber glanced down at the erection prodding her side. “Well, I’m not going to sleep unless you’re right here in my arms.”
Aubry pressed her lips against his chest and hummed. “I never thought a tough biker would be romantic.”
“Romance is for pussies.”
Her tongue darted out and traced his nipple. “You really believe that?”
“Not since I met you.”
He couldn’t remember when it happened, but he wanted to be everything she needed in a man. If that meant he was a fucking romantic pussy, he’d be one.
