Author Interview:

What inspired you to write Intimate Moments & The J Spot?

The inspiration to write both of my books came from some erotic romance short stories I had written years before the books were written. I didn't know what to do with the stories and didn't want to toss them in the trash. The original play was to write a book of erotic romance short stories but the stories took on a mind of their own and expanded into a book. Hence, Intimate Moments and The J Spot.

When or at what age did you know you wanted to be a writer?

I had no aspirations on becoming a writer. I knew I like to write and come up with stories. With having a vivid imagination I love to create. I didn't become an author until I was of adult age.

What is the earliest age you remember reading your first book?

Reading my first book came in kindergarten. I don't remember the name of the book but I enjoyed reading all of the Nancy Drew series books.

What genre of books do you enjoy reading?

I enjoy reading romance novels, paranormal novels, erotic and erotica novels, and comedy novels to name a few. If the book grasp my attention and I can't put it down, I'll read it.

What is your favorite book?

My all-time favorite book is War and Peace followed by Moby Dick. I have read both of those books over and over again.

You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

It's hard to say who my favorite author is there are so many good authors past and present. But, I will have to say Jane Austen is my favorite. Her book Little Women is a timeless classic.

If you could travel back in time here on earth to any place or time. Where would you go and why?

As I love to travel, I would love to go to Ancient Rome. I would love to see how they actually lived back then. To see how the buildings became to be ruins. To meet some of the Greek Gods. I think that was such a romantic era.

When writing a book do you find that writing comes easy for you or is it a difficult task?

Sometimes writing is very easy for me and there are times writing is not so easy. I do go through the spells of having writers block. That's when I have to step away from my writing and do something else. I don't have to be in a certain mood to write. When the moment hits me, it hits me.

Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?

I have two dogs, a miniature Daschund and a Box-Lab mix. They are an interesting pair, one is big who acts like a little baby and the other one is small who acts like he's a big dog. Never a dull moment around here with the pair of them.

What is your "to die for", favorite food/foods to eat?

I would die for a Rueben sandwich with swiss cheese, sauerkraut, on lightly toasted rye bread with a sour dill pickle on the side. Yummy.

Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?

For anyone would like to be an author, stop wanting and do it. No harm no foul. Believe in yourself. You can do. Read everything you can get your hands on. Study books on writing. Be patient.

Thank you for having me as a guest on your blog and allowing me to engage with your readers. This has been such fun.

Excerpt:

There was a nice breeze to the night air. The air seemed just right for the pair. The riverboat was not too crowded with gamblers and party goers. Kevin and Melanie were able to find a secluded spot on the boat where they could talk some more and enjoy each other's company without any interruptions. Waiters walked around with trays of delectable edibles and various types of drinks. Kevin was able to flag one of them down to get the both of them a drink

"A glass of wine?" He asked of his date.

"Yes, red wine would be nice," She replied.

Kevin took the glasses of wine from the waiter's tray, he handed her drink to her looking her directly in her beautiful hazel eyes. He smiled and turned to the railing to lean over it a little. "Look how the moon is shining over the water, that's romantic. You can actually see the stars, it's like they're right here in front of you and you can touch'em. I sound like a wuss don't I? I like romance, there's nothing wrong with a man being romantic and showing his romantic side."

She took mental note of all he just said and his behavior so far through the evening made her smile even more. "No, you don't sound like a wuss. Actually, it's kind of refreshing to see a man acknowledge romance, not may do."

"I would like to be in love one day and have that feeling given back. One day it will happen. I'm not forcing it," Kevin said getting into his sensitive side.

"Are you cold?" He asked taking notice that she was putting her wrap around her shoulders and moved closer to her. He wanted to make that move earlier but he didn't want her to think that's why he asked her out.

"Just a little bit."

"Here, come here in my arms." He wrapped his large left arm around her while stepping behind her to cover his body with hers. He can now really smell the scent of her perfume and feel her entire body next to his. "Is that better?" Kevin asked with his mouth to her ear. His warm breath was on her neck, his arms were wrapped tightly around her waist and his body was pressed up against her back side.

"That feels a lot better, and I mean, feels a lot better. Your cologne, what is it?"

"It's Armani, is it bothering you?"

"No, I like it."

He relieved her glass from her hands, placed it on the railing next to his, he began to caress her fingers. Feeling her hands and the length of her fingers, Kevin noticed the length of her nails which are nicely manicured and not too long or too short. He intertwined his fingers with hers, balled both into a fist and wrapped both of their arms around her. He could feel her melting in his arms. Her head rested on the left side of his chest exposing the right side of her neck. He rubbed his nose up and down the length of her neck taking in the sweet smells of her scent. Her body relaxed more into his. He unloosened his right hand from her right hand and began to run his hand down the length of her neck. He stopped at her shoulder, which was exposed, and lightly massaged it. He was still holding on to her with his left hand, making sure she could still feel his body with hers.

The cool air had caused their bodies to become warm within each other's.

"Are you okay? Is my arm hurting you?" Kevin asked out of concern. He wanted to hear her voice; to feel the vibrations of her vocals against his chest.

"I'm okay. I'm relaxed and enjoying the night. It feels good out here. And you feel good as well."

"Thank you. Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"Can I take your wrap off and place it on the lounge chair behind us? I'd like to really have you in my arms. Is that okay with you or am I out of line?"

"I wanted to remove it. It's bunching up behind my back." Melanie removed her wrap Kevin took it from her to place it on the lounge. "That feels better. It's not that cold out anyway.".

Excerpt:

Tonju went to the ladies room with Nichole. The two discussed the events of the evening. Tonju assured Nichole that she still had a job with her as her legal assistant. Nichole was elated and began to cry. She was wondering who she would be working for when the new switch took place.

Nichole helped Tonju apply fresh make-up, to get her back to flawlessness. "Ms. Tonju, you need to take care of something in the bar area once we're done."

"Is it something pressing, or can it wait Nichole? I have to get back to the guests."

"It can't wait and I'll make sure all of the guests are taken care of. Most of them are already taken care of anyway. But you do need to handle the matter in the bar area."

"I'm almost done and then I'll go over there to see what's going on." Tonju entered the bar area and was greeted by Reggie who stood in the middle of the room. All the lights to the room are off. The room was illuminated by candles only. The tables were adorned with white roses. Kenny G was playing in the background. Reggie reached out his hand to Tonju, she came closer to him, she took his hand and they began to dance to the sweet sounds of the saxophonist. The two swayed back and forth, with their bodies intertwined as one, their hands began to explore the depths of each other's bodies. The music felt good to both of them with their bodies pressed together. Reggie slid his left hand up Tonju's dress, around her panty area. He could feel the heat coming from her panties without putting a hand in her panties. "You have heat coming from you. Do I dare ask if you're wet?" he whispered in her ear.

"There is dampness there and getting wetter."

"May I feel it? May I taste it? Please?"

"If you don't, I'm gonna be mad, after all this is my night."

"Give the lady what she wants. I aim to please."

With her in his arms he walked her backwards to a nearby table with a black tablecloth draping it, Reggie lifted Tonju onto the table at the same time he lifted her dress and pulled her panties down. This was done in one swift motion. Yeah, he was that good. Not wanting to waste any time, he buried his head between her thighs, kissing and licking each thigh as if he was kissing them for the first time. He kissed her toward her hot box, feeling the heat on his face. His tongue reached her clit and began to dance in one spot. "You taste like vanilla and smell like chocolate. I'm gonna be here a while."

"That's the body wash. We have all night, I'm not going anywhere. Take your time." Tonju lied back on the table in a dreamy haze.

Reggie licked and sucked like he was at home and hadn't eaten in days, sending Tonju into electric shocks, her body twitched on the table.
