She laughed. “It will all be revealed in due time. Just know you are loved, supported, and protected. Try your best to connect to anything that makes you feel like a queen. Wear beautiful clothes and continue this beautiful bath time ritual and anything that makes you feel goddess like.
“What is the point of that?”
“It will help you embrace the beauty energy from within. You will be able to channel your inner goddess energy by connecting with these types of things. I need to be going, but get some rest and I will see you soon. By the way, I do like the way you added these feminine touches to the bathroom, especially those antique perfume bottles on the shelf. Just perfect.”
Then she turned and disappeared through the mirror as if it was a door.
A visitor from the spirit realm who also compliments me on my bathroom décor? Could life get any stranger? I snuggled up in my pink, fluffy robe ready for a relaxing evening at home, when all of a sudden I felt another crying fit coming on. This had been happening on and off for months. I’d finally learned it was best to surrender to the tears and allow them to flow through me. Sometimes they would last for five minutes and sometimes for an hour. During this particular crying session, I felt the urge to get on my knees on my bathmat.
“Why is all of this happening to me?” I glanced up and shouted in between sobs.
I didn’t want to be the weird girl with all these crazy supernatural friends. I didn’t understand what was happening to me. I was scared, and even though I had frequent visitors from “the other side,” I felt more alone than ever. The Rocket Blast with Jimmy had relieved me of many of my backaches, however the nausea was still on and off. On top of that, with the recent crying episodes—these releases as Bridget called them—I felt harsh stabs of pain in the center of my heart. I’m not sure how long I cried for, but finally I managed to peel myself off the floor and climb into bed.
“Please send me some love and some answers in my dreams,” I whispered before falling asleep.
The next thing I knew I was in a dark jungle that didn’t seem the least bit familiar to me. My feet sank deep in quicksand-like mud, and I could hear the howls of an animal. Fear welled up in my chest. My right leg started itching and then my left. Mosquitoes were going to town on both of my legs. That was all the motivation I needed to get myself the heck out of this place.
It took all my strength to pull my left foot out of the quicksand. Out of nowhere, an elderly gentleman in a long purple robe with a golden cloak gently took my hands and helped me out of the sand. Quick as wink, I stood with him on a series of wide, uneven stone steps in the middle of a jungle clearing. It was daytime now, and sunlight filtered through enormous trees laced with emerald green vines.
“Whoa, what just happened?” I asked.
