Oh, this is an easy
question: The Wedding and Coronation of King George III. It was a defining time
for all of London and all of England. George III three predecessors were not
born in England nor spoke English as a first language. He wed a German princess
and together they had fifteen children. I can only imagine the cheer that rose
when the crown was set on George III’s head at Westminister. I’m closing my
eyes now and imagining the extravagant nature of the ceremonies. I think moment
in British history was only rivaled by the marriage of Princess Diana and
Prince Charles.
Can
you tell us a little us a little bit about the characters in your recent book?
I LOVED writing Lucianna, a fearless hellion who allowed no man,
even her abusive father, hold her back from living her life…on her terms.
Unfortunately, or fortunately for readers, she met the one man who loved her
for HER. The Duke of Montrose meets Lady Lucianna in a most unconventional
way—and their journey continues despite Luci’s insistence that men and love
were not for her.
