My Review:
Another Powerplay tells the story of how Lennon Cruz and Vivian Lee fell head over heels in love, only to part ways. They met while on vacation at the beach, experiencing love at first sight. However, tragedy struck, and Lennon sent Vivian away, fearing for her safety. He loved her so deeply that he would break both her heart and his own to keep her safe.
What a tragic love story this is; one heartbroken person created his own despair, while the other believes she isn’t loved, unaware of the true reason he sent her away. Two broken hearts that need to heal—how can they ever mend if the truth remains hidden? Will Lennon and Vivian find their way back to each other? Will the real reason behind Lennon sending Vivian away ever be revealed?
Another Powerplay captured my attention from the first page and held it page after page as I hurried to see if Lennon and Vivian would reunite. This story played with my emotions: one moment, I was sad that they were apart; the next, I was angry with him for his reasons, and then, I felt overjoyed at the truth of why he sent her away, showcasing his big heart.
