My Review of Fracture:
Someone wants Pandora dead but she has no intention of
letting that happen ever and neither does Jax. Pandora is on a race to save the
world. Pandora and Jax are at the conduit with their friends Kira and Luke
trying to figure out a way to stop Sam and save the world at the same time.
Pandora wants to live one life where she can go to school
get an education and Jax can be the singer he has always dreamed of being,
Backpacks and Smokey Bars their mottos. What more could a girl ask for? But
first she must find a way to kill Sam and she needs to do it fast before the
Titans can stop her. Pandora has figured out that she has been lied to all
these years from one life time to another with lots of secrets in the mist of
it all.
Her friend Naya is missing and Pandora must find her before
she can save the world. Will they find her before it is too late? Can they save
Naya and the world? Can Pandora stop Sam? Will she figure out the truth before
it is too late as well?
I have followed along with Pandora from the first book Frost
while she has tried to find her lost memories and watched her try to figure out
how she feels about Jax and what he did once; to her journey to find a way to
stop Sam and save the world and loved every minute of it. Pandora has taken us
on some wonderful journeys as well jumping from one place to another and hiding
in the shadows.
Fracture is filled with so many twists and turns I didn’t
know which way to turn but one thing for sure is that I couldn’t turn the pages
fast enough to get to the end to find out what Pandora or Sam was up to.
Fracture likes to hold on to its secrets all the way to the end. That ending
was so amazing I never saw it coming and I can’t wait to start the next journey
in Shatter. I can’t wait to find out where Pandora, Sam and Jax take us next.

“Dory,” he whispered, deep voice thrumming.
Part of her yearned to whisper his name.
Jax.
But the other part won.
The part still clinging to his betrayal,
perpetually aching from it.
I
should have left when I had the chance, she cursed inwardly. Why did I turn around? Why, oh why, did I actually look at him?
Pandora swallowed her rising emotions back
down, flipping the switch inside her head, letting the vampire take over. With
a cool, crisp voice free of the taint of human feeling, she asked, "What
are you doing here?"
His soft green eyes flashed, revealing his
surprise. But then he crossed his arms, responding with a challenge of his own.
"What are you doing dropping what could be an entire life's savings into
an anonymous donation box for a zoo?"
Pandora ignored the question. “Are you
alone?”
A lazy smile crawled across his face, one she
recognized immediately because it was the same grin he wore in the photograph
she’d stuffed in the back of her closet. Carefree and confidently amused. “You
really think I need backup to face you?”
She shrugged absently. “None of the other
titans came alone.”
"None of the others know you like I
do," he murmured, voice silky as he reached across the space between them,
a distance that seemed both vast and nonexistent at the same time, gently
running his finger over the bare skin of her hand. And again, her pesky heart
thumped once, alive for a moment, ignited by his touch. Without even a hint of
hesitation, he latched his fingers around her forearm, palm burning hot through
her sweatshirt. But his brows came together as he felt the frozen temperature
of her skin, confirming what he’d seen with his own eyes—that she was a
vampire.
"Let go," Pandora demanded, pushing
past him hard enough to make him stumble.
But he just tightened his hold. "Not so
fast."

Who Is She? Pandora is the main
character in my Midnight Ice series! She’s a vampire with the ability to
disappear who’s currently on the run from the supernatural police force she
once belonged to! Oh, and her ex-boyfriend is chasing her. As is a mysterious
(and annoyingly attractive) new stalker. Oh, and, well, the most powerful
vampire in New York City. But she’s fine. She’s got it all under control…sort
of.
Loves: Blood, money, taking
overly cocky vampires down a notch, fast getaways, not-so-fast getaways for that
matter, proving people wrong, and…animals. What? They’re adorable. Oh, and also
using her ability to disappear to totally freak people out. BOO!
Hates: Losing at anything,
the sound of her alarm clock, people who underestimate her, and, well, her
ex-boyfriend Jax (and the fact that she doesn’t really hate him at all, as much
as she tells herself otherwise).
Guilty Pleasures: Going to the zoo,
eavesdropping on other people’s conversations, and punching Jax when he really,

wrong, his old beaten up guitar (a gift from his father), taking bad guys off

Hates: The fact that Pandora
is usually right, and that in his world, duty means everything, even more than
the secret dreams he holds within his heart.

Pandora and sees a little spark in the back of her eyes whispering that some
part of her remembers who he was…who they were.
Hates: Jax and the
unrelenting passage of time.
Guilty Pleasures: Popping in
unexpected, because being invisible has its perks!
