Interview with Jackson Burrows
As a writer, what would you choose as your
mascot/avatar/spirit animal?
Raven
How many hours a day do you put into your writing?
3-4
Do you read your book reviews?
Yes, but in the new times were
in there are few interested to read the work of authors who are a bit unusual.
Do you leave hidden messages in your books that only a few
people will find?
The work of my series are profuse with metaphorical and
revealing meanings defining the characters
that are not first noticed in one reading.
Can you tell us a little bit about the characters in E.V.A.IN.E.?
The series, E.V.A.IN.E. contain
many individuals ranging from the creator of the entity, Dr. Shesgal
Ollemanhalu and Dr. Chanis in the backstory which gives way to the future on a
remote planet of their colonization with
many individuals who are in conflict with the doctor’s doctrine for creating
transcendence among the tribal clans indigents. It is complex with their
personal views and interplay with themselves that is horrific and at times
beautifully romantic.
Can you tell us a little bit about your next books or what you have
planned for the future?
At the time of your inquiry the third
installment to the series is close to being in print. Only the cover art
remains to be accepted by me in my last correspondence with my publishing
coordinator at Page Publishing in New York.
Do you allow yourself a certain number of hours to write or do you
write as long as the words come?
our
presumptions are close to what I experience. Mostly 3-4 hours but it can
be extended at unusual times during the night from my dreams as the undefined
assist s my story.
Do you have a certain number of words or pages you write per day?
I do not hold myself to a
regimented framework. It comes when I have let the influence surface for
interpretation.
