My Review:
Shift For Brains is the fourth book in The Legend of Nyx by Theophilus Monroe. I am still in love with this series and even more so now that zombies have made an appearance. Oh, yeah anyone who knows me knows that I love me some zombies.
Oh, don’t get me wrong I love vampires and witches too. I do believe that zombies, vampires, witches, and shifters are my favorite paranormal creatures. I just can’t seem to get enough of either.
I love this world where vampires, witches, shifters, and now zombies all live in the same world. I loved the new or different twists on the zombies and even the vampires. I love all the characters each in their own way. I love their attitudes and the way they are always saying snarky things. I love the banter that goes on between them.
In Shift For Brains, zombies have made an appearance in their city. Nyx has a plan to stop all the zombies but she will need help. She can’t do it by herself. What she needs are vampires to help stop the zombies if she wants to save the ones she cares about.
At first, I was wondering how they were going to get the vampires to help them kill the zombies. Well, especially seeing that Nyx is a vampire hunter. How does a vampire hunter get vampires to help her or more like trust her? But then it hit me. The zombies are killing the vampire's food. Yeah, food for thought as they say, huh?
So if the vampires want to live so to speak then teaming up with a vampire hunter may just be in their best interest at the moment. Now the question is can Nyx convince the vampires to help her? How will she convince the vampires?
