Blurb:
Liam sees black mould when no one else can. It covers the walls whenever ghosts are near. Cleaning doesn't work, and the stench of rotten food never goes away.
Now, the only thing that shuts out the mould, the malicious dead, is alcohol.
But the demonic forces keep calling to him, drawing him back to his childhood home and the dark presence in the basement.
To lead an normal life, he must ignore his past, resist his extraordinary gifts—otherwise the grey-haired woman will finish what she started.
My Review:
Liam Tate sees dead people. Whenever he sees dead people the mould appears and turns everything nasty. Liam tries to drown out the dead people with alcohol, coke & rum to be exact.
Liam is the only one who can see the dead people or the mould. He is afraid to tell anyone his secret as he is afraid they will lock him up and throw away the key. Liam and his mom move in with his grandfather but his old home keeps calling him back to it.
No matter which road Liam takes it always leads him back to his old home. He is always having to take a detour to where ever he is traveling because of an accident. If it is not an accident then it is something else.
The reason doesn’t matter as he is always pulled back by the house itself or maybe it is something more sinister that lives inside the house. Something evil that doesn’t belong there any longer.
I was drawn in by Liam and his story in Mould just like he was drawn in by his old home. I was hooked by Liam’s story the moment I opened Mould and took that plunge into the abyss of his dark and sinister story.
Mould kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end. I couldn’t have laid it down if I had wanted to as I was hooked. I can’t wait to read more of Liam’s story in future books in the Liam Tate Thriller series.
I highly recommend that you give Mould a try if you like dark and sinister stories! Grab your copy of Mould today for an eerie beginning to a new series!
