My Review:
Roundtable Nights is the second book in the Druid Detective Agency by Theophilus Monroe. I thought the first book in the Druid Detective Agency was the best but then I hadn’t read Roundtable Nights book two either. This series just gets better with each book or more like turn of the page.
Like Merlin’s Mantle, Roundtable Nights starts off with a blast and never lets up from the first page until the last. The twists and turns just keep on coming page after page. I couldn’t believe what was happening I was kept in suspense on every page. I mean there were so many twists I was kept on the edge of my seat as I raced to the end watching as they unraveled.
Monsters were appearing right out of nightmares and becoming real. Once their victim awoke the nightmares became flesh and blood. Elijah Wadsoworth a Druid and his wife, Emilie a Bard and their son Merlin, who run the Druid Detective Agency are trying to find a way to stop the nightmares from becoming real. But how do you fight a nightmare?
After the mare leaps from a nightmare and becomes real by taking over its host body and completing its mission the host dies. How can you stop something that you have no idea where or when is going to strike next?
