My Review:
Not Quite The Truth is the second book in Nora Kane's Lindsay Lane FBI Thriller series. It picks up where the first book, Not Quite The Enemy, left off. At the end of Not Quite The Enemy, Lindsay finds out that her brother Liam was involved in many bank robberies.
Lindsay's investigation leads her back to the place she grew up in, New Mexico. She thinks Liam could be hiding out there, or maybe she will luck up and find a clue as to who was heading up the robberies.
Lindsay's first stop was the local sheriff’s home. Lindsay finds the sheriff lying dead in his home. He had been shot. Lindsay is now a suspect in a murder case. This is all she needs at the moment after being suspended from the FBI.
The question now is who shot the sheriff? Another question is Liam connected to the sheriff being shot? How deep does Liam’s part in the heist jobs go?
Not Quite The Truth kept me on the edge of my seat with many questions I needed answers to now. I couldn’t turn those pages fast enough as I tried figuring out who was robbing the banks and who shot the sheriff. The mystery and suspense were intense I wanted to know all the answers now. I wanted to know the truth.
