My Review:
The Midnight Society: Alien Awakening is a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read more. The Midnight Society: Alien Awakening may be a short read but it reads like a full-length novel. The Midnight Society: Alien Awakening drew me deep into its world when I began reading.
The Midnight Society: Alien Awakening grabbed my attention from the first page and held it until the last page. The mysterious things happening to our new friends and the Midnight Society team kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting to discover what would happen to them and why.
The mystery and suspense had me gripping my chair the more I read. I was afraid for our five new friends and Whisp too of course. I can’t wait to read more about The Midnight Society team in future books.
The Midnight Society: Alien Awakening opens with the Midnight Society team on their way to another strange sighting. It tells the story of five friends who have been investigating mysterious phenomena since they were children.
When strange lights are reported Tyler calls all his friends, Conner, Alex, Maya, and Olivia to help him investigate the strange lights. The five friends are known as The Midnight Society.
Tyler, Conner, Alex, Maya, and Olivia along with Tyler’s golden retriever, Whisp go off into the woods in search of the strange lights. Whisp usually likes it when his human friends go for a walk in the woods but this time he is reluctant he is not about to let his human friends go off without him.
It is not long before they find the strange lights hovering. The Midnight Society team is curious about the lights, but Conner is the first one to investigate. The moment he does, he is swept up into a spaceship. Olivia tries to run, but she is swept up, too, along with everyone else, including Whisp.
The Midnight Society team has been abducted by aliens. What are they going to do? Will the aliens hurt them? Or do they just want to learn about humans? Will they do strange harmful experiments on them? Will the aliens let them go? Or will they escape? Can they escape? What happens to our five friends and Whisp on board the spaceship? What do the aliens want?
