Blurb:

There’s no shortage of thrillers in my bookstore, but I never expected to stumble over a body in the suspense aisle—especially when the main suspect is me.

What was supposed to be a quiet life running my cozy bookstore has turned into the scene of a chilling crime.

The victim? An irritating author with a long list of enemies.

Among them: an ex-brother-in-law drowning in debt, a scorned girlfriend desperate for revenge, and others with motives as twisted as a thriller plot.
Determined to clear my name, I team up with Peanut, my loyal Labrador, and my sharp-tongued best friend.

Together, we dig through layers of lies and scandal to uncover the truth.
But every clue we find drags us deeper into the dark history of our small town, where secrets run deep, and everyone seems to be hiding something worth killing for.

The closer we get to solving the case, the more danger lurks around every corner.

Threats pile up, and time runs out as I race to unmask the killer before I become the next tragic twist in this deadly tale.

My Review:

The Manuscript Murder is the second book in a new series, A Chloe Lane Cozy Mystery by Daisy Belle. A lot is going on in The Manuscript Murder for a short read. The Manuscript Murder kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for more. There is plenty of mystery and suspense to keep those pages rolling.

Chloe Lane owns a bookstore. A customer comes into the store to pick up his order. Chloe has to go to the back of the store to get his order when she comes back she finds him lying dead in the suspense aisle. Who killed Ethan? Why did they kill him?

Well, of course, Chloe is the number one suspect. Chloe, with the help of her dog, Peanut, and a few of her friends decides to look into who killed Ethan. During her investigation, Chloe finds that Ethan along with the town has a lot of secrets. Did someone kill Ethan hoping to keep those secrets?

The Manuscript Murder had me racing to the end to find out the reason someone wanted Ethan dead. I can’t wait to read more mystery stories by Daisy Belle.

I recommend The Manuscript Murder to all mystery fans! Grab a copy of The Manuscript Murder today!
