My Review:
World of Struggle picks up where World of Ruin book 3.5 in the Cursed World series left off after Nell and Aimee’s home was destroyed in a fight after being attacked by John and his men.
Nell contacts another group looking for a safe place for her family. Quinn, Andra, and their group decide to allow Nell and her family to stay with them.
Andra’s brother Gray is not a happy man. He wouldn’t pitch in with the chores on the farm. Andra tried to get him to pull his weight to pay back for what he ate but he wouldn’t. Gray told Andra that the animals weren’t his and he wouldn't help.
After Nell and Aimee arrive at the farm, Gray is nowhere to be found. He has taken off, putting everyone in danger. Andra doesn’t trust her brother. Everyone was fearful Gray would take up with John and his group and give their location away.
Cursed World grabbed my attention with the first book World of Blood. But of course, I have loved every book by Kate L. Mary that I have read and can’t wait to read more of her work in the Cursed World series.
Not knowing what was going to happen next or where Gray stood kept me hanging on every word as it was revealed. The suspense and mystery kept me on the edge of my seat, waiting to know what was on the next page.
I would love to see the Cursed World series made into a TV series. I would watch it over and over again like I do The Walking Dead. Speaking of The Walking the Cursed World series made me think about it in many ways.
I enjoyed reading World of Struggle so much that I highly recommend picking up a copy today so you can too.
Be sure to check out all the books in the Cursed World series!
