This weeks Top Ten List

Top Ten Favorite Authors In X Genre (Ex- Top Ten Favorite Science Fiction Authors, Top Ten Fave Contemporary YA authors)

I picked the genre Post-Apocalyptic because I love reading about zombies and end of the world.

  1. Stephen King: The Stand has been one of my favorite books since I first discovered Stephen King when I was a teenager.

  2. Tahereh Mafi: I loved Shatter Me it is one of my favorite books. I really liked Juliette because she never felt sorry for herself or whined to anyone about her problems or that she didn't get want she wanted.

  3. Amanda Hocking: I loved reading Hollowland I felt as if I was right there fighting along side Remy the whole way. Looking for Max wanting to find him just as bad as Remy as if he was my little brother too. I felt like I was being attacked by zombies. As if my family, friends and my whole life was gone and it was no more.

  4. Robert Kirkman: I know I may be cheating just a little bit with picking Robert Kirkman. I had too, I have read about half of the comic books and love them. I also watch the tv show The Walking Dead. It is about the only show that I will watch every week. The comic books and the tv show are very similar. Sometimes when you read a book and then watch the movie or in this case the tv show they will change a lot but they have not changed that much with this one.

  5. T.S. Welti: I have read the first two books in this series. No Shelter and Left Behind They are very good books. I can't wait to read the 3rd book Buried Alive.

  6. Shaun Jeffrey: I loved the whole concept, idea that is being portrayed in Dead World . It is not just about zombies or Gods in general. I love the aspect of telling a story with in a story. Shaun Jeffrey has an amazing, awesome way of telling a story. He is a brilliant story teller. To understand what he is trying to say you would have to have an open mind. The whole time I was reading Dead World I kept thinking that Shaun Jeffrey has a way of telling stories that makes me think of Stephen King.

  7. Shannon Mayer: I loved reading The Nevermore Trilogy, Sundered, Bound and Dauntless. I loved how much Mara and Sebastian loved each other so much that when he was zombish he still knew her and took care of her.

  8. Jessica Sorensen: I have read Darkness Falls and Darkness Breaks and loved both of them. I can't wait to read Darkness Fades. I have not read any books about vampires like the ones in the Darkness Falls series. They are like the zombies in books about zombies.

  9. Kenya Wright: I really, really loved Fire Baptized. I loved that it had a new twist on all the different supernaturnals like Vampires, Shifters, Fairies, Witches etc... It kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end before the murder was revealed. I can't wait to read the second book The Burning Bush. I would also like to read some of Kenya Wright's other books as well.

  10. Adam Sifre: I had the privilege of reading I've Been Deader for a blog tour presented by Bewitching Book Tours. I am very grateful that I had this opportunity. I've Been Deader is about zombies which if you haven't figured it out yet I love reading about zombies. I've Been Deader is like no other zombie book that I have read before.
