Last semester, Annabelle fell in love. There are just two problems. Jason is her best friend…and he’s already taken.
Refusing to break up a relationship, Annabelle resigns to love him from afar—until a certain hot firefighter walks into her life.
Kingsley is the perfect catch. Rich, attractive, with muscles to boot, and he only has eyes for Annabelle. But things get complicated when he clashes with Jason.
With tensions running high and emotions spiraling out of control, Annabelle finds herself torn between her love for Jason, and her new desire for Kingsley.
The longer Annabelle tries to hold on to both men, the more she gets tangled up in a web of lies, secrets, and chilling revelations.
Now, things have gotten worse and Annabelle must do something—before things get ugly…
Interview with Sarah Fischer
What inspired you to write Second Snowfall?
When I was college, one of my best friends had a guy best friend and everyone was convinced they were dating. They both clearly had feelings for each other, but never acted on them. Now he’s married to somebody else and she’s happily living with a different guy, but always wonders what would have happened if they had gotten together. So in Second Snowfall I give my characters the chance to possibly live out what could have been. And of course, every good book needs a hot fire fighter!
Can you tell us a little bit about the next books in Elton Hall Chronicles or what you have planned for the future?
The third book in the series is called “Third Wheel”. Yes I am very clever when it comes to naming books! And it is the final one in the series. It follows Christie down the rabbit hole of illegal street racing as she tries to fight her way through duty to her country, duty to her family, and duty to herself.
Can you tell us a little bit about the characters in Second Snowfall?
Annabelle is a naive college freshman who has never really experienced love, mostly because she is eighteen and also because the man she wants already has a girlfriend.
Jason and Annabelle have been best friends since they met, but Jason’s girlfriend and the feeling of comfort he has with her, prevent them from being anything more.
Tired of playing second best, Annabelle looks for something more. Before she knows it, she is stripping down in a firehouse with the new man of her dreams, Thomas Kingsley III. He has muscles, a black AmEx card, and a uniform. What more do you need in a man?
You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?
Elizabeth Hoyt is one my favorite authors, even though she writes historical romance. She has some of the best twists and turns in her Ghosts St. Giles Series and I frequently have to reread it when a new book comes out because of her breadcrumbs that she leaves so far in advance. She is brilliant and the sex scenes will blow your mind!
If you could time-travel would you travel to the future or the past? Where would you like to go and why would you like to visit this particular time period?
I would like to be a teenager in the 1950’s because I feel like the music, the fashion, and the culture was some of the best our country has produced. But I would also like to take my kindle with me!
Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?
I have two fuzzy friends, Trinity and Loki! They are brother and sister calico cats.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit with us today.
