Interview with
Angela Castillo & Jamie Foley
Can you tell us a little bit about your next
books or what you have planned for the future?
Jamie Foley is working on a new fantasy series; Angela Castillo is planning a space opera.
How long would you say it takes you to write a
book?
Anywhere from 4 months
to a year depending on how complicated the project is.
What is your favorite childhood book?
I love Little Women.
I’ve probably read it 20 times.
What was the hardest scene from The Busy Moms
Guide to Writing to write?
The technical chapters
are a little more difficult because I’m not really a techie person, but we
tried to make them easy to understand because we know many beginning authors
really need a simple and comprehensive guide to getting started.
What made you want to become a writer?
It just happened. I
started writing when I was eight years old and never stopped.
Just for fun:
Favorite song: The Color Green by Rich Mullens
Favorite book: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Favorite movie: Never Been Kissed (tied with The Princess
Bride)

About the Authors
Angela Castillo
Angela Castillo loves living in the small town of Bastrop Texas, and draws much of her writing inspiration from life there. She loves to walk in the woods and shop in the local stores. Castillo studied Practical Theology and Music at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. She was home-schooled all through high school and is the oldest of 7 kids. Castillo's greatest joys are her little girl and two boys. Castillo has been published in The First Line, Aardvark's Ark, Heartwarmers, Thema, and several other publications, and also has works available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle format.
Jamie Foley
Jamie Foley loves strategy games, home-grown berries, and Texas winters. She's terrified of plot holes and red wasps.
Her husband is her manly cowboy astronaut muse. They live between Austin, TX and their family cattle ranch, where their hyperactive spawnling and wolfpack can run free.
