Famous Hollywood actress, Elizabeth Stanfield, has a glamorous lifestyle with a lavish house, glittery parties, a people magazine's fifty most beautiful people fiancé and best friend Billy Stone - Famous actor, producer and secret organized crime enforcer.
Everything is not as it seems...Elizabeth's fiancé cheats on her, a studio head and director are hell bent on making her life miserable and it gets harder to keep her secrets protected.

Can you tell us a little bit about the
characters in Celebrity Status?
Elizabeth
Stanfield is a famous movie actress who seems to have it all together but in
reality the camera doesn’t show what goes on behind the scenes. Her fiancé
cheats on her, a studio head is extremely jealous of her and her best friend
Billy’s friendship, a director hell bent on making her life miserable and she
has a massive amount of secrets she protects fiercely.
Billy
Stone is Elizabeth’s best friend, confidant, and is completely in love with
her. He is a producer, actor and has no compunction to use people for what he
needs. Which includes dating a studio head to get his film financed. He
protects Elizabeth’s secrets with every fiber of his being, especially since he
is as much apart of the secrets as she is.
Can you tell us a little bit about your next
books or what you have planned for the future?
I
have a mystery series planned for the future and I can’t wait to write them.
There will be six books in total. The first book will begin with Halloween and
the final book will end with a summer wedding 😊 but there will be lots of murder in
between 😊
How long would you say it takes you to write a
book?
Depends
on the book but it usually takes around six months…give or take a couple of
weeks
What is your favorite childhood book?
My
favorite childhood book was Bunnicula by Deborah and James Howe. It is the
funniest book I’ve ever read. It is written by the family dog. He talks about
the cat (who is crazy) and the new rabbit they have in the house and how they
believe it’s a vampire bunny. The scene where they find the vegetables sucked
dry of all their color and the cat passes out…so so funny.
What was the hardest scene from Celebrity Status to write?
Funny
enough the hardest scene to write was the one where I kill off the first studio
head. Seriously it was the first time I had ever maliciously killed off a
character in a book and I was full of guilt 😊
What made you want to become a writer?
I
love telling stories and I had to start writing them down.

one? I can’t do that! There are so many I love I can’t pick just one.
Favorite book: Besides
Bunnicula (yes it is still a favorite ha!) one of my favorites is Beneath a
Blood Red Moon by Shannon Drake…SO GOOD.
Favorite movie: Home
Alone. Yes I know it’s a Christmas movie but I LOVE it. I watch it all year
round and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it a million times.
Favorite tv show: The
Goldberg’s. Holy cats this show is hysterical. I can’t believe it’s based on a
real family. I love that!! It also brings back lots of memories from my
childhood…Love it!
Favorite Food: I’m
supposed to say fruits and veggies yes? But in reality, it’s pizza. Pizza.
Pizza. Pizza.
Favorite drink: Funny
enough my favorite drink is water. I love it. It’s so refreshing and literally
the only thing that quenches my thirst.
Favorite website: Google.
Weird right? I know but seriously there is so much information you can find
using Google. It’s like a super smart bff that’s always there when I need it to
answer something.
