Alpha Unleashed

Blurb:

Tessa McCaide has had it up to here with supernaturals. As the only half witch/half alpha werewolf around, she’s the obvious choice for ambassador to the humans when the magical communities seek to escape the shadows for good.

But coming out isn’t as easy as sending a press release. Vampire attacks are all over the news as the power-hungry witches play with dangerously dark magic and Tessa can’t promise any human safety when she and her friends are so busy battling for their lives.

Luciana leads the corrupt witches, and even though she failed to steal Tessa’s magic, she’s just getting started on her crusade for magical domination. Countless covens are turning dark, and if their demonic summoning isn’t stopped, it could mean the end of everything.

Tessa’s allies, including her mate Dastien, are ready to fight, but they’re no match for Luciana’s power. A little help (and ancient Inca mojo) from Tessa’s cousin, Claudia, may give the side of good a chance if she can make it home in time, but stopping the war is no longer an option.

When witches and wolves fight, no one wins. Only time will tell who will still be standing after the last spell is cast.

My Review:

In Alpha Unleashed we get to see what was going on with Tessa and the wolves while Claudia was in Peru in book four Bruja of the Alpha Girl series. In Bruja Claudia found the magic of the ancient ones that will help them with their fight against Luciana.

Meanwhile back at St Alibe’s Academy the wolves are waiting for Luciana to attack and trying to find a way to stop her before she unleashes a major demon on the world. Tessa is getting frustrated waiting for her to attack and is ready to go after her now but she knows that is not a good idea without a good plan and Claudia’s help.

Luciana has been a very busy little witch as she has been gathering other covens to help her fight the wolves. Luciana has been draining other witches to gain their power and become stronger for whatever she has planned for the wolves and the world. Tessa must find a way to stop her before she unleashes her dark magic upon the world.

Tessa, Dastien, Meredith, Donovan and the wolves as well as the few good witches staying at St Alibe’s are trying to find a way stop her. They need Claudia’s help and the help of the Ancient Inca mojo magic that she found in Peru if she can make it back in time before Luciana attacks.

The Supernaturals have always hidden away from the humans but with Luciana’s shenanigans the world now knows they exist and too many people know for them to be able to cover it up this time. The only thing to do is let the humans know they exist. Tessa is chosen to be the spokesperson for the wolves, witches and all the other paranormals as she is human/wolf/witch.

I fell in love with the Alpha Girl series when I read my first book in the series Shattered Pack book #6 and then Being Alpha book #7. I was hooked from the first page of Shattered Pack. I was so happy after reading Being Alpha to have been given the opportunity to go back to the beginning to see how Tessa, Dastien, Meredith and Donovan’s stories all begin.

While it would be best to read the books in order I never felt as if I was missing anything although I did have questions about a few things but it’s kind of like if you never experienced something then you can’t know your missing anything. The author wrote the stories in a way that gave you enough information from the other books that you didn’t feel as if you were missing anything.

I am so glad to have got to go back to the beginning and then have each book to jump into one right after the other. With some books you may feel as if you need a break between each book. You love the story but reading about the same people and story for several days in a row kind of becomes monotonous. Well I am very happy to say that reading six books in the Alpha Girl series back to back never once got boring or uninteresting ever. I am still not tired of their story and really hated to know that I had read the whole series. I really hope their story continues in the near future as I don’t think I could ever get tired of reading about all the characters in the Alpha Girl series.

The Alpha Girl series is filled with action on every page and will keep you glued to your seat waiting to see what is going to jump out at you next like a demon or a nasty, rotten smelly old vampire or may be even an ex-girlfriend or ex-fiancé.

I would recommend Alpha Unleashed to all fans of the paranormal world that is filled with werewolves, vampires, and witches or fey. If you just like a good story that will stay with you long after you have read the last page then this is the book for you.
