Till the End
by Remy Marie
Genre: Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Interracial Romance
She moistened her lips as she stood, eyelids at half-mast. “We shouldn’t go there.” He was suffocated by her proximity, by the feel of her hand on him, even though it was only resting on his thigh. Tingles spread from that point of contact. The room closed in, and nothing else existed. His chest rose and fell with each deep inhale and exhale.
“Kiss me, Ky. Because if you don’t, I’m going to kiss you.”
He couldn’t look away from her lips. This was a line he wasn’t sure he should cross. He could do it. But should he? This woman had more power over him with one touch than he expected.
Her hand slid farther into his hair and gripped as if to hold him in place.
She pulled his head toward her. She met him more than halfway. At first touch, her lips were soft. Her tongue tickled the seam of his lips, teasing and asking. She tilted his head. His lips parted, and she went in deep. He floated, falling, and if he hadn’t been seated, he’d have fallen into the abyss.
Her opposite hand fell to his hips and slipped beneath his shirt. The warmth of her skin gliding over him elicited a groan. He lifted her onto his lap to have better access.
Without an ounce of self-consciousness, she rubbed against him. “Touch me, Ky.”
I am a big fan of zombies and end of the world books and I must say that Till the End had it all. I was hooked the moment I found out there were zombies involved. Oh, but it was more than just zombies. No, it told about how people came together when the zombies brought forth the end.
Till the End tells the story of how four people Malcolm White, Anne Yamaguchi, Zack and Kelsey Morris, survived a zombie apocalypse. Till the End ramped up the action with all the zombie fighting. It was intense from beginning to end. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to suit me. The more I read the more I wanted to read. As a matter of fact I never wanted it to end.
Anne and Kelsey are stranded in a mall when they see their first zombie. I must say I was not disappointed in the least with Anne and Kelsey’s zombie fighting skills. After getting stranded the girls soon realize they are need of a little assistance. So Kelsey calls on her husband Zack to come save them from the zombies or more like pick them up as they know how to fight zombies.
Zack and Malcolm are Navy Seals dudes so when they arrive at the mall to save Kelsey and Anne they are not alone, no they have brought along their whole team. They are going to take the girls back to the base but they soon learn that only family is allowed meaning that they can’t take Anne with them.
The four of them have been friends for a long time and neither one want to leave her behind to fend for herself against zombies. So they come up with a plan. Their plan? Malcolm and Anne were married over the weekend. Will their plan work? Can they convince Navy Seals guys that they are married?
Till the End had lots of twists and turns and quite a few big ones. It kept me on my toes as I raced to the end. There was this one big twist that I never saw coming and it left me in tears. Oh, man it broke my heart, I was crying like a baby.
I sorely enjoyed reading Till the End and would love to read more about this world and all its characters.
If you are a big fan of The Walking Dead as I am then I highly suggest that you grab a copy of Till the End today!
