My Review:

I don’t know what I expected when I read the summary for Yours Truly all I knew was I wanted to read it. What I found between its cover, was not it. What was between its cover was way better than anything I expected. Yours Truly grabbed my attention from the first page and I held onto it until the end.

Yours Truly had so many twists and turns I felt like I was on a merry-go-round. It kept surprising me with twists and turns page after page I was beginning to get dizzy for real. R.M. Demeester knows how to put a twist on a story that will keep you wanting more.

The suspense had been chopping at the bit wanting to know what was going on. Every time I tried to figure out what was happening I was slammed with another twist that left me saying “What, no way, that did not just happen”. Yeah, I was left with my jaw hanging open on more than one occasion. What a thrill it was to read Yours Truly. I can’t wait to read more of R.M. Demeester’s books.

Yours Truly is told from several points of view. Lilac is a young woman just starting her life working in a bar which is where she meets Chad. Chad has just broken up with his girlfriend Sarah.

Chad loved Sarah but their lives seemed to be going in different directions. Not to mention that Sarah was a control freak wanting different things than Chad.

Lilac was a breath of fresh air compared to Sarah for Chad. Lilac was not like Sarah in the least. Chad and Lilac seemed to be on the same page in lots of ways. Their love for each other blossomed in ways that Chad and Sarah never had or never would.

Sarah wasn’t too keen on letting Chad go. Sarah started following Chad and found out about Lilac then she started following Lilac. Sarah started making things hard for Chad and Lilac. Sarah believed she was the only one for Chad and she was going to prove it. Sarah was going to find a way to get Lilac out for their lives if it was the last thing she did.

Then Lilac goes missing. Chad accuses Sarah of taking her but she denies it. Is she telling the truth? Where is Lilac? Is she safe? Is she still alive? The race is on to find Lilac before time runs out.
