My Review:
Our five friends, Tyler, Conner, Alex, Maya, Olivia, and Tyler’s golden retriever, Whisp, are back and trying to figure out their new powers. They each receive a mysterious message. To save Earth, they must discover what this message means. Aliens are coming to Earth to take over, or maybe they are already here.
"Guardians of the Cosmic Rift" is the second book in "The Midnight Society" by Orion Blake. "Guardians of the Cosmic Rift" is just as good, if not better, than the first book, "Alien Awakening," in the "Midnight Society" series.
The suspense kept me turning the pages. "Guardians of the Cosmic Rift" had me racing to the end to see what would happen next. I had to know who would come out on top—our five friends or the aliens. "Guardians of the Cosmic Rift" was an intense read that hooked me from the first page.
I love the world created for "The Midnight Society." I also adore all the characters: Tyler, Conner, Alex, Maya, Olivia, and Whisp. The five make this story; it surely wouldn’t be the same without each. The world-building is extraordinary, to say the least. I can’t wait to see where the story goes next.
