Under attack from all angles, Sabrina’s mission is simple: retrieve the child and stop Deacon’s rise to power. But in their world, nothing is ever that easy.

Deacon has reined in every available source of power to ensure his success in the war against the panthers; all except one. Amelia, born to Peter and Beth, is said to hold the power of a long forgotten bloodline, and Deacon will stop at nothing to get her.

Sabrina has been steadily turning friends into enemies with her opinionated views and is tired of living life on the sidelines. Deciding it’s time to leave behind this chapter of her life, she uncovers a devastating betrayal that sends her straight into the lion’s den. Soon, the knife twists even deeper revealing that Deacon is not the only master of deceit. A puppeteer has been pulling their strings from the beginning, creating a destiny that was never intended and replacing it with another, leaving their souls forever incomplete.

Fully aware that their lives have been tampered with, accusations fly and loyalties divide making them vulnerable against the enemy. Things spiral out of control and one unavoidable situation leaves blame and guilt weighing heavily on Sabrina’s mind. Despite being shunned by the people she called family, she is determined to help them win against Deacon.

In a moment of stupidity that could have ended her life, the future is revealed in two paths for her. Will she choose the right path and go the distance, or will she perish under her uncertainty, leaving Deacon as the successor?

Author Interview-

What inspired you to write Twisted Bloodlines ?

I guess you could say my love of reading inspired me to write Twisted Bloodlines. However, originally it was never intended on being in the dark fantasy genre. It was just plain old fiction. A story of one woman’s struggle for survival against a brutal spouse in a bid for her freedom, but then my mind went ahead and twisted it into something completely different.

When or at what age did you know you wanted to be a writer?

I can’t really recall an age. I used to love writing as a child and it was only a few years ago that I gained enough confidence to actually go ahead and take the plunge into the big bad world of writing.

What is the earliest age you remember reading your first book?

Honestly, my memory is terrible, but my mother tells me that I was an early reader and I do remember obsessively reading at around primary school age.

What genre of books do you enjoy reading?

I enjoy mainly the paranormal and horror genre, but I have read a few biographies that I found quite interesting and the odd historical romance.

What is your favorite book?

I can’t name a favorite book, but I do have a favorite series. The dark hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

Richard Laymon is my favorite author. His books combine my two favorite genres, paranormal and horror. I love his work.

If you could travel back in time here on earth to any place or time. Where would you go
and why?

To be honest, I would probably go back ten years or so and convince myself to get my work out there. I’m thoroughly enjoying being an author, and really wish that I had started sooner.

When writing a book do you find that writing comes easy for you or is it a difficult task?

Twisted Bloodlines came easily and since it is a series, I already had the plot line to follow through. My current WIP has it’s moments, but then sometimes my house is like living in a zoo. Finding a quiet moment to concentrate can often be a task.

Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?

I have a dog. He’s an american bulldog who is completely docile though that doesn’t stop the postman leaving my mail on the step and sprinting like an olympic athlete when he barks. In his defence, it is loud.

What is your "to die for", favorite food/foods to eat?

My favorite food is Moussaka. For those who don’t know what that is, it’s a greek potato based dish with ground meat and eggplant. I absolutely love it, but don’t have it as often as I’d like.

Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?

Have confidence in yourself. It is hard work, but if you love what you’re doing and yearn to share it with the world then it’s all worth it in the end.
