Summary from Goodreads:

Two princes. One bride. A dire misunderstanding…

Geo and Dmitri are the princes of Tybiria. Though Geo is the obvious athlete, it's bookish Dmitri that yields the credit - and consequences - for slaying a foreign prince. But whose arrow really struck the boy?

Luccia Camerlane is the Baron of Backshore’s enigmatic daughter...as well as Prince Geo’s secret mistress…until she learns of her disastrous betrothal to none other than his brother, Prince Dmitri.

When Dmitri is abducted by the deranged King of Llewes, star-crossed lovers Geo and Lucie must set aside their woes and differences to rescue the Crown Prince from the formidable Wintersea fortress. A precocious castle ward, a fascinating love-quadrangle, and a hit-woman harlot complete this action packed rom com in another wickedly fast-paced fantasy adventure from C.K. Brooke, author of The Red Pearl and the Books of Jordinia.

Interview with C.K. Brooke

1.        What inspired you to write The Wrong Prince?

I’d written a quest, a revolution and a treasure hunt, so the next adventure I wanted to tackle was a rescue mission. I loved the idea of an imprisoned prince in need of rescue, and a plot to assassinate the deranged king who abducted him.

2.        When or at what age did you know you wanted to be a writer?

I was six years old when I wrote my first book. It never stopped from there!

3.        What is the earliest age you remember reading your first book?

My family read to me all the time as a baby and toddler. I learned to read when I was around 3 or 4, before kindergarten, and I mainly learned how through those Spot books (the ones about the dog).

4.        What genre of books do you enjoy reading?

I love to read YA fantasy with romantic elements.

5.        What is your favorite book?

I have many favorites, but right now I have to say my favorite books are the YA paranormal books, Foreshadowed and Forewarned, the first two installments of the Near Deaths Series by Holly M. Campbell. I’m anxiously awaiting Book 3.

6.        You know I think we all have a favorite author. Who is your favorite author and why?

My favorite YA authors right now are Kiera Cass and Holly M. Campbell. I’ll read just about anything they write.

7.        If you could travel back in time here on earth to any place or time, where would you go and why?

I’d love to visit the 1800s and meet all of my great-great grandparents around the world – in Greece, Russia, Syria, Latvia, etc. I think we all would’ve gotten along and been great friends, had we been contemporaries.

8.        When writing a book do you find that writing comes easy for you or is it a difficult task?

The writing part has always come easily for me - especially wording, grammar, sentences and dialogue. What’s more difficult is the plotting and crafting, pacing and timing of creating a marketable story.

9.        Do you have any little fuzzy friends? Like a dog or a cat? Or any pets?

I used to have dogs, but now I have a small child and he’s a handful!

10.    What is your "to die for", favorite food/foods to eat?

I’m originally from Maryland, so I love seafood. They say fish is “brain food” – my husband thinks I’m smart because of all the fish I eat!

11.    Do you have any advice for anyone that would like to be an author?

Be prepared to work hard. It’s not an easy industry and takes lots of time to build momentum. But if you write because you love it and are passionate about it, then that’s your fuel to keep you going.
