My Review:
An Unforeseen Murder is a
captivating novel that gripped me from beginning to end, preventing
me from turning the pages at my desired pace. Although I was eager to
find out who committed the crime, I didn't want it to end.
An
Unforeseen Murder kept me on my toes as I tried to figure out
whodunit. I had my suspicions from the beginning, and the book held
on to its secrets beautifully, allowing me to enjoy their slow
revelation, one at a time. Sammy, Emily, Jax, and let's not forget
Cinnamon, Sammy’s Golden Retriever, all contributed to making the
story even more interesting and exciting, leaving me wanting it to go
on forever.
Sammy gets a catering job at a lighthouse
gala. Everything is going well until the woman who hired her falls
from the top of the building. The sheriff doesn’t seem to think
there is any foul play, but Sammy believes otherwise, and there is
enough evidence to warrant an investigation.
Sammy’s
investigation leads to numerous suspects, and believe me, I had my
theories about who the culprit might be. It was thrilling to observe
as the case unraveled and the truth came to light. The suspense kept
the story moving and my heart racing.
As I mentioned, I
had my suspicions about the culprit, so imagine my surprise when the
story came to a sudden stop and the real suspect was revealed. What a
fantastic read! I can’t wait for the next book in the Sammy Brooks
Cozy Mystery series.
