I enjoyed reading all the stories in "The Adventures of
Periwinkle Fae: 26 Magical Bedtime Stories" much more than I
expected when I started. I loved how Periwinkle was always there to
help the animals in the forest discover their true purpose and find
ways to assist everyone else with their daily tasks, all while
bringing the community closer together.
1 - The
Midnight Firefly Dance
A group of fireflies dancing
away in the forest, trying to keep the magic alive for everyone. What
a sweet and heartfelt little story. All the fireflies have a kind and
sweetheart, always helping each other.
2 - The
Butterfly Ball
Periwinkle is invited to the Butterfly
Ball for the first time, and she is ecstatic about it. What a
beautiful and creative story about butterflies coming together to
create a beautiful ball.
3 - Leo’s Dancing
Lessons
Leo, a lizard, loves watching the rabbits
practice their dance moves. His eyes and face light up whenever he
watches them. Leo would love to dance like the rabbits, but he
doesn’t believe he can until Periwinkle shows him that he can.
4 - The Raindrop Symphony
Periwinkle helps the forest
animals create magic with the raindrops. This is a beautiful story
about how everyone comes together to make beautiful magic.
5 - The Midnight Orchestra
Periwinkle helps a cricket
find his magical voice. The cricket’s voice is different from
others, but Periwinkle helps him realize that he has its own style of
singing and can make magic as well.
6 - The Broken
Butterfly Wing
Periwinkle helps a butterfly learn that
she has more talent than just flying, she shows her that she can make
magic happen in other ways.
7 - The Butterfly’s
Winter Coat
Bella a butterfly was too weak to fly with
the other butterflies to a warmer place for the winter so she had to
stay behind. Periwinkle and the other forest animals helped Bella
find away to stay warm for the winter.
8 - The Autumn
Sharing Party
Periwinkle showed all the forest animals
how to work together so that no one would go hungry doing the winter
by sharing with each other and sharing their knowledge.
9 - The Winter Warming Party
Periwinkle shows all the
forest animals that they can work together to help everyone survive
the coldest, harshest winter nights.
10 - Leo’s
Swimming Lesson
Leo the lizard can’t swim and gets a
lesson in how to swim so he can visit his family that lives across
the stream.
11 - The Moonflower Mystery
The
moonflowers won’t open because the morning glories are intertwined
with them. Everyone works together to find a way for the moonflowers
to open without damaging the morning glories.
12 -
The Smallest Helper
What a beautiful story about how
there is a job for everyone, small or big. Periwinkle tries to help
with the spring-cleaning but finds that she is too small for most
jobs, but then learns that there are jobs that only someone small can
complete.
13 - The Berry Special Birthday
It's
Milton the field mouses birthday. Periwinkle wants to make it special
for him but can’t do it by herself. Not to worry, and all the
animals want to pitch in to help when they find out that she is
throwing him a surprise party.
14 - The Great Acorn
Race
A race is on for the smallest animals in the
forest. The smallest mouse wants so much to win the great race, as he
never wins anything because of his size. He wanted to have something
special to carry home to his parents, like his older siblings.
15 - The Firefly Lantern Race
The Firefly Lantern
Race is on. Periwinkle helps everyone with the race by gaining
knowledge about the fireflies to help them gather the fireflies
needed to win the race.
16 - The Underground Mail
Service
Periwinkle helps to build an underground mail
service so everyone can stay in contact with their friends and loved
ones that they haven’t seen in a long time.
17 -
The Drought
The forest is drying up. Periwinkle comes
up with a way to save the forest, with everyone working together to
bring the water needed until it rains again.
18 - The
Lost Little Squirrel
A little squirrel gets separated
from his family. Periwinkle helps him find his way back to his
family, with the help of other forest animals along the way.
19 - The Friendship Garden
Periwinkle and other forest
animals helps a grumpy old toad find friends and beauty in things by
planting a flower garden for him to watch over.

The Firefly Festival
Periwinkle helps a small firefly
find the confidence he needs to show others how special his abilities
are, no matter how different they are from everyone else.
21 - The Golden Dewdrop
One morning, Periwinkle sees a
golden dewdrop, but then it disappears. She searches the forest for
away to bring the golden dewdrop back.
22 - The Big
Storm
A storm comes sweeping in and puts Periwinkle’s
home in danger. She gathers everyone who lives in the tree together
to help find away to save their home from being destroyed.
23 - The Crystal Cave
Periwinkle and her friend
enter the crystal cave and lose their way quickly. They must work
together to find away out through the crystal magical light.

- The Mischievous Gnome
A gnome is always playing
tricks on everyone just to get them to pay attention to him.
Periwinkle helps him find a way to use his talent to help others
instead.
25 - The Fairy Ring
Periwinkle
makes wishes that upset the balance of the forest, causing chaos.
Periwinkle must find away to put everything back into balance once
again before it is too late.
26 - The Secret of the
Whispering Tree
The forest is falling apart, with all
the animals arguing and no longer working together as their ancestors
did once upon a time. Periwinkle with the help of the whispering tree
work together to help the animals learn to work together to become
one once again.
