He walked up behind her and hesitated a moment before resting his hands on her shoulders. When she didn't try to shrug him off or move away, he knew she felt the same attraction he did. Was he moving too fast? Hell, sex was the main item on the night's agenda, anyway. They both knew it. If she shut him down he'd be no worse off than before.
But she didn't. When he brushed aside her thick mane of hair and skimmed his lips over the soft skin of her neck, a shiver ran through her. A silent acceptance of his touch. God, she smelled so good, like flowers and the ocean and sin. He licked her skin lightly then nibbled on the lobe of one ear.
She pressed back against him and he turned her to face him, studying her for a moment then brushed his mouth over hers. Her lips were lush and full and tempting, with the feel of soft velvet. Tracing the seam of them with the tip of his tongue, he urged her to open for him and thrust inside her.
Jesus!
Her mouth was hot and liquid, her tongue dancing like a live wire. He moved his hands up and down her back, feeling the heat of her through the fabric of the dress. She gripped his biceps with her fingers and when she pressed her lower body against his, every nerve in his body fired. He wanted to go slow, take it easy. Give her the chance to get used to him. They'd barely gotten to know each other. But his body and brain were engaged in a fierce battle for control.
My Review:
The following review is my opinion and not a paid review. I was given a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.
Chelsea Haller a woman down on her luck who loses her job as a graphic artist due to "downsizing". She has also just broken up after a two year relationship with her loser of a boyfriend. She has no idea what she is going to do about her future and her life without a job and losing her boyfriend on top of that. Her friend Laura talks her into trying out Madame Eve's 1Night Stand agency online. Chelsea is not sure that meeting someone online is a good thing. What if she gets hooked up with a murder? Laura explains to her that Madame Eve checks out all of her clients and not everyone is accepted. Chelsea still not sure about it all but goes ahead and fills out the info and sighs up for a 1Night Stand.
Chelsea is on her way to meeting her 1Night Stand when Mother Nature leaves her stranded at the airport. She finds herself alone in a bar at the airport with only one other person a guy there. While she is checking him out and liking what she sees very much he is also checking her out at the same time. Then this guy comes over and sits next to her and they start talking. They find out that they are each other's 1Night Stand that Madame Eve set them up with.
Chelsea and Alex decide that since they were supposed to spend the night together anyway they might as well go on up to his suite in the airport hotel. They hit it off right from the get go with their feelings for each other not to mention the electricity flowing between the two of them. Chelsea can't figure it out because she doesn't usually act like this with a total stranger but she just knows that it is the right thing to do. Well of course it is with all the heat that is flowing through both of them. Will Chelsea and Alex try to find a way to have a relationship or will their 1Night Stand be enough?
I am not a real fan of books with only romance in them. I like some kind of action to go along with them. But I not sure why but I have fallen real hard for Madame Eve's 1Night Stand series. I just can't seem to get enough of them and I want to read all that I can get my hands on. As much as I do love them I really would like to know more about Chelsea and Alex. You know about their past and how they came to be where they are today. I would like to know more about their past relationships. They seemed to fall for the same kind of people.
If you like to read romance with a little hot sex thrown in as well as a hot and sexy guy then you would love Madame Eve's 1Night Stand series. I definitely recommend them to anyone who likes to read romance with a little sex mixed in. The 1Night Stand series are not recommended for anyone under 18 but I don't see why some mature less than 18 year olds could read them. Most probably already know all about it besides they could teach them about what to look for when looking for that right person and teach them they need to use protection.
